Description

Join a crew of pirates for a sunset cruise over the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico as you learn the tales of the brigand ship Pirates Ransom. Sip a drink on deck and dive into buccaneering fun for scallywags of all ages, from treasure hunts to water gun fights.

Climb aboard the Pirates Ransom and grab a beer, a glass of wine, or some refreshing Champagne—you can also purchase cocktails or rum from the barrel if you’re seeking a more swashbuckling spirit. As you sail into the sunset off of Florida’s coast, it’s easy to imagine the days when these waters were rife with looting, plundering, and gold-burying pirates.

As cool reggae island & steel band music fills the air, feel the sea breeze and keep your eyes peeled over the gangplank for the splashing dolphins that call these waters home. Gulls and seabirds duck and dive around the crow’s nest as the pirate crew shares the legend of Captain Memo and leads you in a rousing treasure hunt on board. Get into the spirit with face painting, pick a side in an epic water gun battle on the open seas, and immerse yourself in the pirate’s life for the remainder of your cruise.

Amazing! This is perfect for parents that are vacationing with kids and want to have real relaxing time on a boat while your kids are taking care of with activities. No, it’s not daycare but it was amazing for us as the crew keeps the kiddos entertained the entire time! My kids got to play with water guns, find treasures, get their face painted, etc, etc. All of that while my husband and I enjoyed great music and champagne! Highly recommended.

To be fair- this is poor for romance. It’s designed specifically for kids and kids only. (I took a Pirate cruise in Cabo that was for adults and children.- it is possible and I’d hoped this was similar.) The designated adult area is for smokers, which I thought about taking up just to escape the screaming kids. I tried to sit back down where I was once sitting since the seat was still open and some lady said she’s holding the seats for her family, who didn’t seem interested in being near her -ever. (The kind of mentality you’re likely to encounter.) Then went to a different area with an entire double sided bench completely open and was told those seats are being held for the children who are currently water-gun fighting. Bottom line, there is simply not enough Carlos Rossi wine or Budweiser (drinking choices) to consume to drown out the kid chaos. Not for romance. Have kids??? Most seemed to enjoy it.

Cruise ship was overloaded, not enough seats for everyone. minimal selection of drinks. overall experience was poor.
