Flying into GSP airport will let you really take advantage of the gorgeous Greenville area. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, this is the perfect spot to take advantage of nature. Activities include hiking, fishing, birdwatching, climbing or rafting.
A great way to see lots, and get exercise simultaneously, is to rent some pedal bikes and check out the 17.5 mile trail system GHS Swamp Rabbit trail, which is solely for non motorized vehicles. Explore the whole area surrounding the city on this trail, and take in the picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls. While there, check out the one of a kind suspension bridge across the river.
After flying to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) make your way to the city using the Atchinson Transportation, the official airport transport supplier. Alternatively you could opt to rent your own vehicle, or you could even rent a car and make your own way into town. For a fee you will find both long and short stay parking.
Holidaymakers will love Main Street, full of sculptures, fountains, art galleries and museums, and live music and theatre performances.
