Large, clean room with a good breakfast made by friendly owners. Excellent price and walking distance from the center. Be aware that some rooms have shared bath and payment is cash or check only.

Nigel and Lynn were the perfect hosts. Very welcoming and always available to help. The room was clean and fully serviceable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend for a pleasant stay in York.

Very pretty outside property parking available to rear private. rooms tired require updating but acceptable but the owners made up for it lynn lovely try really hard the only other thing was not having a key to let ourselves in felt bad they had to wait up for us. Breakfast good and accommodated what we liked

Hosts were lovely. Apartment was clean but could definitely benefit from modernisation. Also, as it faces into the main house and garden sometimes it doesn’t feel particularly private, especially when exiting from the shower!

We had a great stay at Greenside,Lynne and Nigel were great hosts,the room was excellent, very clean ,they made us feel realy welcome, good value for money food great will be recommending to our friends and family

Flying visit.

Very welcoming hosts, comfortable rooms and close to the city walls and river plus a fantastic breakfast. It has rooms at the back with private access but may not suit younger guests who want to be out most of the night to stay in the main building as the hosts have to let you in. Overall a very pleasant stay for myself and my wife.

Great stay

Lynne and family were sooo helpful. Even on the day we left, we were staying in the city for the day, so they helped us find parking for our car. This was fabulous. They were flexible, accommodating, friendly and overl great. Thank you Lynne and family.
