Travel cot, highchair and fireguard. Barbecue. Welcome pack. Back garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden.. Inside, the open-plan living area centres on a superb wood burner, giving you a snug place to return after exploring. A practical kitchen space makes it easy to put together relaxed meals at the end of the day, while the calm sleeping area invites a good night’s rest. Lovingly renovated from the old stables, it has an easy-going, welcoming feel that reflects the care of its owners. There is dedicated cycle store and surfboard/canoe storage, handy for bringing your own gear on active breaks. From Dousland you can head out onto Dartmoor for walking and cycling, or follow paths around nearby Burrator Reservoir. Within easy walking distance there are four pubs, all serving food. A fifteen minute walk takes you to a small shopping area with a garage, Post Office, CO-OP, chemist, coffee shops and cafes.
