Wrexham soccer visitor from USA

I came to Wrexham to visit the area and to watch the Soccer team. This hotel is so close to the train station, The Turf, Stok Cae Ras. I would stay here again. The staff went out of there way to store my luggage after checking out so I could enjoy the soccer match without any luggage. Thank you.

The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment.

Was told at check-in that breakfast on Christmas Day needed to be booked in advance. Asked for breakfast the day after Christmas and was literally told I couldn’t have any because I hadn’t pre-booked. I explained that I was told Christmas not Christmas and Boxing Day. The hostess said “well I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do if you didn’t pre-book”. I don’t know what hospitality school she went to but an offer of a piece of toast and a cup of tea would have changed my opinion completely. Terrible service.
