Winooski got its name from the Abenaki dialect and means “where the wild onion grows.” Inside, guests will find one bedroom with a soothing space featuring a king bed and the other bedroom with a full-size bed. Low key, out of the way spot within close driving distance to Burlington downtown and campus. Ideal place if you’re in town for a show or to see your college kids for break. Check in was easy and the host was quick to reply. Definitely recommend.

A great spot to stay for a Vermont getaway weekend! Laura was friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is close to 88 for easy access to other parts of the state, but the center of Winooski had everything we needed as well! A nice quiet neighborhood with clear instructions on how to access the space. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend Laura’s place in Winooski!
