Maria was AMAZING. Absolutely wonderful host who was willing to work with us on some difficult, last-minute complications. And the house was amazing. Absolutely perfect for our 16 people and 2 dogs. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Maria and the house. Stay here. You will not regret it.,

We had a wonderful stay from the check-in through check-out. The hope is beautiful, spacious, well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the large game room and fire pit down at the bunk house! Plenty to do for kids from age 3 all the way up to age 97! Management was professional, thoughtful, and responsive. Five Stars!

Absolutely incredible property! Close friends and faimly came together to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone, kitchen facilities are large, and the pool was a hit. I am glad I found this place

Fabulous hill country get away!

We rented this fabulous property for my son and groomsmen to use when he got married in Wimberly in June. There was plenty of rooms and everybody had a fantastic stay. Every possible amenity, great pool, fun game area. Plan to return for a family getaway!

Annual Family Vacation

Great time was had at the WVL!! Very spacious for our group of 20. For reference this included 12 18-29 year olds and 8 persons 52-82. We enjoyed the beautiful views, the games, the pool/hot tub, and the very comfy beds. Thank you also to Mary for her quick responses to our questions that came up before and during our stay. This may just be the place we relocate our annual vacation!!

Wimberley Christmas

The Wimberley Valley Lodge has become a treasured part of our family Christmas tradition! We absolutely love it here! There is room for our entire family of 30 ranging in ages from 2-80. There are plenty of comfy bedrooms for all the married couples. The bunk room in the main house is huge and the girls have plenty of room to spread out, and the boys love the bunk house attached to the party barn! The grounds are perfect for games and fun and the party barn is an absolute hit. We all love getting schooled in shuffleboard by PawPaw!This year we had a family cooking lesson and MawMaw taught all her granddaughters how to make ravioli. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. It was an all day adventure and a memory we will never forget!Mary is a wonderful and responsive host and takes great care of us! We are already planning our next visit to the Wimberley Valley Lodge!

Family vacay

This property was amazing. we had lots of space to hang out. We played lots of indoor games as well. Loved the bunkhouse where we could sit by the firepit. Had most of our evening meals there. Eas such a relaxing environment and we found everthing we needed. Thank you for sharing your hiuse with our family.

Magical Place, Wonderful Stay

We couldn't have been happier with the houses, the game room with ALL you could want to play, the pool (though cozy for our large group), the hot tub, the stocking of all you could need to cook and clean. The beds were so comfortable in all the houses. It was a perfect place with amazing communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail. We were all sad to leave. We have found our forever location for our annual family gathering with our 10 adults, and 4 teenagers, 6 pre teens and 2 babies. Mary was wonderful to work with. Wimberley charmed us with how warm and friendly every business we went to was. Perfect stay in a beautiful location. Thank you to Wimberley Valley Hill Country Getaway.

Amazing Stay

This was an amazing place to stay and was exactly as advertised if not more beautiful. Check in was easy the host Maria very responsive and really welcomed our family. My new and wife and I loved the main house as it was gorgeous. Absolutely recommend this property for your next family reunion. We will be back!

Golf Weekend

What a great place to stay! We have a golf group that has stayed at many VRBOs throughout Texas and this was one of our absolute favorites. The pool was refreshing, the A/C worked great, and the property was perfect. If we can find some closer golf courses we will be back!

Great place for family to gather

Our extended family of 18 enjoyed the homes and property at Wimberley Valley Lodge for Thanksgiving. Three homes with lots of bedding options was perfect for us. I do wish one of the party barn bunk rooms had a double bed so parents could stay with kids, but this place may not get a lot of little kids - there is plenty to do (games, etc) for all ages! Ours explored every bit of the 10 acres, finding frogs and animal bones, climbing trees, enjoying smores, playing in the pool and hot tub, and eating lots of food! The kitchens were well equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses for all of us - we kept the three dishwashers running almost constantly. We look forward to returning!

Hands Down The Best Decision Made

I came across this lodge and noticed it allowed events. I got in contact with Mary, who was absolutely a dream to work with. She gave us a tour and I knew that the lodge was the perfect place. Fast forward to our wedding weekend, everything was so easy as far as check in, communication, and the place was soon to be transformed into our special getaway. Family and friends could not believe this incredible find. So many told us this was hands down the best decision to host our wedding at Wimberley Valley Lodge. They have everything needed to make it feel like home but a venue at the same time. I could see us going back to enjoy the lodge again but next time for a mini staycation.

Family gathering

Loved everything about this property. We had 15 adults and 7 children. Property has ample comfortable bedding for all. Plenty of activities also. Kitchen options worked well. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Can’t say enough good about our stay.

This is it! WVL is the perfect property for your gathering.

This property is better than the photos. We held our family reunion here with ages ranging from 76 to 11 months old. The amenities are perfect to keep the kiddos happy. The Party Barn is set up perfectly for large serving of meals and hanging out. The main house and guest cottage are appointed for comfort and have everything you need. Mary was very easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was everything we hoped for. It was and more. We will be back!
