For year-round outdoor sports and gorgeous scenery, try the Crafts Inn, which was designed in 1898 by Stanford White and is now registered as a National Historic Landmark. The Crafts Inn provides an indoor pool, racquetball court, and saunas. The Mount Snow ski area is within 6 miles which offers downhill and cross country skiing, snowboard park, mountain biking. In addition to the average annual snowfall of 15 feet, snowmaking ensures plenty of snow from mid-November to early May. In summer, enjoy swimming and boating on 14-mile-long Lake Whitingham, as well as playing tennis, golfing, and horseback riding.

The modern history of the Crafts Inn, as an RCI time-share resort, began with its purchase in 1980 and opened in 1982 which is now owned and operated by the Crafts Inn Owners Association.

This property worked well for a long weekend ski trip to Mt. Snow (approx 15 minute drive). The apartment was really spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the tv didn't work (we didn't ask for it to be repaired - just used a laptop instead). The property toed the line between quaint and dated, but was overall clean, comfortable, and in a good location.

Host was very welcoming. The rooms are VERY hot. had to put heat on 55 and sleep with all windows open. The Hot tub is not a hot tub...its a warm pool and was very dirty. It does not have typical "jets" its basically a hot pool, but there was confetti, and other stuff in the hot tub with an oily texture to the water. The couches in the rooms have to be 30 years old, and the pull out bed far from comfortable, id suggest bringing an air mattess. For the price..its doable, but not ideal.

Charming building with friendly staff. Loved having access to a pool, hot tub, sauna and pickleball. Great location. Rooms are pretty outdated and the sofa bed was awful, but the real bed was comfy. Overall a good experience considering the affordable price.
