The space
Sleepy Hollow Chateau features two large living room spaces--the formal living room features soaring vaulted ceilings and elegant hardwood floors that is well appointed with plush upholstered furniture while the back patio living room gives out all the fun vibes with bright mid-mod decor, neon bar sign, and large 65' flatscreen TV to catch up on the big games or the latest in streaming entertainment. Slide the massive patio doors open to the patio that features a large farmhouse style entertainment table and chairs along with new Gas grill. Swivel the Patio Room TV out towards the outdoors for even more entertainment options! Don't miss the bowling ball edged french gardens on your way out to another small patio conversation area and finally a fire pit the entire family can gather round.
Each bedroom has been lovingly appointed....The Master Bedroom features a massive four poster bed with brand new luxury mattress and flat screen TV. Picture yourself in the private patio room right off the Master Bedroom that features an enormous bed swing and breathtaking views of the backyard. Two more bedrooms are located on the main floor with luxury queen sized beds and flat screen televisions. A vintage inspired main floor bath features a tub/shower combo. Anyone a Harry Potter fan? Don't miss the fourth bedroom located upstairs which features two twins beds, a luxury Queen sized bed, another flat screen TV, and a our own version of a trolley cart complete with coffee and hot chocolate K cups for all to enjoy. This bedroom features an on-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Charming Cottage!
We loved staying here - such a cozy and charming cottage with all the appointments necessary. Definite old world charm. The backyard is wonderful and the sunroom off the master was a big hit! The neighborhood was very quiet and the host very accommodating. We would definitely book this again on another trip to Wichita.

We stayed at the Sleepy Hollow Chateau as a family and absolutely LOVED it. The house is SO much fun!! The upstairs is AMAZING!! It’s the perfect place to stay as a family or group. We had 8 people and we were so comfortable. It made an emotional trip for our grandmothers funeral a million times better. The backyard is also giant! The pictures don’t do it justice. Would absolutely stay again.

Together again
This was our second stay at Sleepy Hollow, and quite enjoyable to see the property in both the summer and winter seasons. Beautiful mature trees and blooming perennials add to its outside charm, plus an outdoor fire ring, solar-powered chandeliers and if you’re lucky, fire flies.

Our extended family came together for State track and State soccer events and this was a perfect home to accommodate all. So well appointed, clean, and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the gardens and swing sunroom and being able to have home cooked meals.

Clean and Beautiful house inside and out.
A very clutter free clean house with a beautiful back yard for outdoor activities located in a quiet neighborhood. This house was at a central location for our adult children to visit during our stay. Easy instructions to the property the day of reservation. Easy check out ; start laundry and dish washer. We loved our 6 day stay and do recommend this VRBO. We love Harry Potter so the second floor was AWESOME for us.
However we searched for a place with 4 bedrooms with king or queen beds. Two bedrooms that were listed as queen beds had smaller sizes and made sleeping arrangements difficult. If I had had the accurate bed size it would have changed my booking. Their were fewer amenities; for 6 days reservation; 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no dish soap, 3 dishwasher pods, 2 kitchen garbage bags and half a roll of paper towels. I would recommend they mention in their listing for guests to bring their own paper toiletries and cleaning soaps so guests can arrive prepared and not have to go shopping for essentials.

Cozy, clean, and impecable attention to detail in this home!
Love every inch of the home - so much love has been poured into caring for this place and the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful with fall colors. Naps on the daybed, fireplace chats, and magical wizard loft were all highlights. Loved this weekend experience!
