Very nice property. Secluded. Aesthetic and Clean. Only thing that could be better is supplying certain things like toiletries and laundry detergent.

Birthday getaway

It was wonderful. The house was perfect. The driveway is a little tricky and don’t pass by the driveway at night. Very difficult to turn around. Great view, very comfortable beds. Will stay there again. We had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful as was the view from the porch. Very convenient to Bryson City, Cherokee, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc.

Best cabin ever!

This place was amazing! The views, the sounds of the river, the interior and exterior…I could keep going. Cabin came with everything needed minus your personal toiletries. So peaceful and relaxing! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!! 5 stars!!

Great Smoky Mountains getaway

My son and I came down from Boston for 4 nights to explore GSMNP and surrounding areas. The house was absolutely gorgeous, well appointed, CLEAN and had everything we could need. Our only complaint is the driveway. At the curve near the top it’s very loose gravel, and our rental SUV got stuck. Not a big deal, but it’s worth mentioning so others are aware. We would go back again in a minute. Hands down the nicest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at.

Babymoon

My husband and I are about to be first-time parents in September. This was a fantastic place to get away with another couple we’ve been friends with for years. It was so clean, modern, and overall just a great experience. The time away was much needed as all 4 of us are in healthcare. The mental break this place allowed was worth more than anything. Whittier/Bryson City always feels like home and we continue coming back. We are adding this listing to our favorites and will hopefully return soon!

Just what the doctor ordered

High end finishes, linens, appliances, and bedding, was excellent. The cabin was the cleanest place that we have ever stayed at. Loved everything about this place. Even the drive to the cabin. That last turn though.....Stay to the outside edge and don't stop. LOL The peace & quiet was the best part though. With all that said, be aware that this cabin doen't have a d/w. How that got past me, is anyone's guess. However, being just the 2 of us we survived. I do wish they had a Keurig machine since I was the only one drinking coffee. Again, I did just fine with the regular coffee pot. Highly recommend if you just need to get away from it all.

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

Tucked Away is the perfect place to getaway for a quiet and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of home. It is very private and truly "tucked away" in the trees on the side of the mountain. We had a great view of the river and the sound of it flowing by was so calming. The decor inside is beautiful and exactly as pictured in the listing. The kitchen is very well appointed and had everything we needed to prepare a delicious meal. There are night lights in every room and battery powered candles throughout the house which really helped set the mood. Some even had remote controls which was nice. They provide dish and laundry detergent, but you'll need to bring your own bath soaps. One thing they don't provide which was a bit disappointing is coffee and cream/sugar. We brought our own because we asked in advance, but just be prepared for that. They do have a coffee maker and filters. The fireplace is nice and has a fan that helps distribute the heat. *Tip for contacting the host: reach out directly to Carolina Mountain Vacations using the phone # they provide in your reservation email. We did have 1 issue. The comforter in the master bedroom was covered in dog hair and had a large stain that smelled strongly of pet urine. When we called, the host was very apologetic and offered to send someone to change the linens immediately. I hate to even mention since everything else was perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the area.
