Dog Creek Lodge is situated on 80 pristine acres, surrounded by Stillwater State Forest and Dog Lake. The estate accommodates 34 guests when fully occupied! We offer Nordic Skiing trails in the winter and hiking trails in the summer, with direct access to Dog Lake. We offer lodging packages and an outdoor experience for all types looking to unwind and explore. Dog Creek Lodge is a 30 minute drive from Whitefish, an hour and 15 minutes from Glacier National Park, and situated on the northwest corner of the Flathead Valley.

This package is for our full resort which accommodates up to 34 guests. The package includes our fully equipped Main Lodge home, the Guest Lodge hotel style rooms and full, private access to our Event Lodge (game room, kitchenette, library, and movie room as well as an event space upstairs.) When entering the property you'll see our restaurant and bar, which offers a full menu and is available to view on our website. During the winter, we offer a full nordic shop with rentals for XC skiing, fat biking and snowshoeing on our 27+km of groomed and maintained trails.

We normally have caretakers or staff on site 24/7. If you need anything after hours, you'll be taken care of!

Best Ever Family Reunion

We had an amazing stay at Dog Creek Lodge! It was our first family reunion since the pandemic...we had 20 adults and 8 children stay on property. Accommodations were perfect for our group, spacious with numerous large gathering areas, a huge kitchen, fun game room, the lake with kayaks, canoes available, a fire pit, the cafe/catering options for outside food nearby and a fantastic helpful staff. We've had numerous family reunions over the years at other locations in the US and after our stay at Dog Creek Lodge the feedback from our group was "best ever!"

Great Place for Large Groups Near Whitefish

We had a group of 29 (half adults adn half kids). The property is perfect for large group. Great decks with views of the lake and woods, horse shoes, a massive commercial kitche with a walk in fridge, laundry, a 2 story game room, and it's only 20 minutes outside of WhiteFish. There's a lake with canoes and kayaks on the property. The bottom is muddy so it's best to canoe out into the middle and swim there. There was also a lake just north of the house with some fun cliff jumping that the kids loved. They also had several bike, a huge grill, a fire pit, etc. The staff was amazing and Sarah helped us get everything planned in advance (hikes, catering, extra cleaning, babysitters, etc.). I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
