About this property

Lake Retreat for Large Gatherings

The Blue Heron Retreat, located on beautiful, all-season, Dimond Lake offers 4 unique vacation rentals right on the water! Nestled on the landscaped, terraced hill, the Blue Heron Suite, Fisherman’s Cove and Sunrise Suite are all attached to the main lodge, where owners also reside (yet maintain privacy of guests). 2 sets of steps down is the recently renovated Eagles Nest, a separate cabin built at the turn of the 20th century. While there are 2 additional sets of steps to the beach, a stair lift was recently added for those who need it. Amenities and common spaces included on our property (available for all guests) include kayaks, paddle boat, hot tubs, fire pit, and our new Grotto overlook space. Pontoons are also available for rent during warmer seasons.

Newaygo County boasts many outdoor adventures including tubing down the Muskegon River, hiking, biking, ORV riding, snowmobiling & cross-country skiing on the North Country Trail, Dragon Trail, and Loda Lake Wildflower Sanctuary. Near-by Newaygo and Fremont also offer quaint Up North downtown shopping, museum, and eating experiences.

If our retreat appears to be booked over the dates you are interested in, please send us an inquiry. There may be a combination of individual units available for rent. We book Friday to Friday only for this rental.
