Lovely house great location
Very large property. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and bedding. Some bathrooms/en-suite need updating. The plumbing was quite noisy at times.

Celebrating the completion of an OU degree
We were a party of 9 - mixture of family and friends and a small dog - marking my niece’s achievement. We live at a distance from each other so the size and layout of the house was perfect for us. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms over 3 floors, living rooms on more than one level. We lost each other when we didn’t want to be together !
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we could want. In fact, everything we could want was in the house. Not cluttered but everything there.
The location of the house in Whitby was good for us. Walking in and out of town was not a problem. The open top tour bus stops outside the house, with other public transport. The parking space was big enough to take our 9 seater vehicle. We could walk to the cliffs and beach too from the house.
And we ate some fantastic food. Found some brilliant restaurants and pubs in both Whitby and nearby villages.
The weather was sunny and warm which helped a lot too
But in summary we all thought it was a great house which suited us very well

House good location
Nice weekend overall - however-
No key ready for check in
Not able to dispose of waste as outside bin overfull- only one black bag given
One oven broken and dirty
Musty smell overall
Bathrooms could do with descaling and mould removal

Early Xmas celebration with friends.
Best beds we have ever had. Cooking facilities excellent. Plenty parking. after blip in getting in we had a very enjoyable stay and was only a short stroll into town. The bonus at the top of the 199 steps was the church was decorated with what seemed a hundred sponsored Xmas trees. Dgs

House was very well appointed - clean and comfortable and loads of space. A few minutes walk from town centre and a great base to explore. Feels like the owners really look after the place.
