Spring Break Family Trip

Our stay at Golden Pelican was absolutely amazing! The house is beachfront with a breathtaking beach a very short 3-5 minute walk down the beach to Horse Stable Beach. Even with 2 infants in tow, it was a simple walk (a little rocky at first) and with such a gorgeous beach so close, we rarely went anywhere else. There were numerous lightweight beach chairs with fantastic backpack straps available at the house so we took those, along with the beach towels provided, every day. We saw starfish, rays and even an octopus just steps from the house. We loved the kayaks and the outdoor grill and tables. As a family of 10, we cooked most of our meals at the house and had everything we needed. The home was extremely clean and well kept. The beds were SO comfortable!! There are 2 very large bedrooms on the main floor, each having their own bathroom. There are 3 more bedrooms upstairs with another full bathroom. The house was perfect for our large family. Rosemary was extremely hospitable and is such a dear!! She helped us with pre-stocking the house with groceries and setting up taxi service to the ferry. She had toys for our grandbabies and everything we could possibly need during our stay. We are so thankful for all she did to ensure we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to book again.
