We stayed at this iconic 70's Kiwi Bach in Wharekaho as a family of 4 adults and 2 children, and it was a fantastic experience! The Bach was clean and very well-maintained. The beds were cosy and comfortable, making it perfect for all six of us.The Bach had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There is no Wi-Fi, allowing us to disconnect and enjoy quality time together playing some board games. The deck offered partial ocean views, and the sound of waves could be heard from anywhere in the house – incredibly calming! The laundry and tumble dryer were also very convenient. The location was ideal – just a short, easy walk to the beach, perfect for morning strolls or evening walks. It was also a quick drive to Whitianga for shopping. The two kitchens were a bonus, with plenty of refrigerator space to store all our food and drinks. On-site parking made it convenient, and the property was easy to find. The host had everything perfectly set up for our arrival, and we encountered no issues during our stay. The lovely garden provided a great space for the kids to play with their ball while we relaxed. This Bach is certainly located, with easy short drives to must-visit spots like Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, and Coromandel Town. There's so much to do and see in the area!Would absolutely recommend and definitely visit again in future.
