Great host, great experience, great stay

Nice stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay,Nice amenities and really appreciated the labeling for all the switches.The golf cart and kayaks as well the bikes were a nice feature.The concert at Rec shell 1 was such fun and well attended.Will repeat this experience next year.

Great Place!!

The owners definitely have renters on mind here. Everything is so well laid out and even labeled so you know right where to go. Every amenity you’d like to have they provide here. We came on a very hot week and air conditioning in every room was so appreciative. The power went out everywhere including Chester and when we had questions the owners were quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend the place and would definitely return.

Great Stay at the LaPant home!

When I book a VRBO I spend some time reading the reviews to get accurate insight into the property before I book, and the reviews did not disappoint. It was probably the best appointed VRBO that I have stayed at. Everything you could need and then some. Kitchen was well labeled as well so you don't spend extra time looking for kitchen supplies. The large fenced yard was an added plus. Beds were comfy, and the golf cart was ideal and fun to get out and around. Laurie was readily available and graciously helped me figure a few things out before we arrived. We had a great time and will stay again! Thank you LaPants!

Family vacation

Came up to visit family and friends in the lake almanor area. Location was perfect. We were 10 minutes to Chester, and 10 minutes to the east shore where other family was staying. Best weekend getaway in the peninsula

This is the first home that we have ever come back to for a second trip. The owners are excellent and continue to improve on the property which we thought was already great to begin with. This is most likely the best vacation rental for a smaller group in the peninsula at Lake Almanor.

Wedding Weekend

Our family came to Lake Almanor for our niece's wedding. We used to come to LACC every year during the summer when we lived in Reno, so we have very special memories. With our kids now grown, and grandkids, this house turned out to be the perfect place for a long busy family weekend. The location is awesome, the house was clean, it is so well equipped, and beautifully furnished. Laurie was really responsive and wonderful to work with. Honestly this is probably the best rental we've ever stayed in, anywhere. Will definitely be back! Oh, and the price was really reasonable. Thank you for a great stay!

Best Vacation Rental

We have stayed here twice now and it is the best vacation rental. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and always notice the smallest things, but this is the cleanest home we’ve stayed in. Additionally, they’ve thought of every little detail. There’s nothing you could possibly need that isn’t provided. It feels like you’re staying in a well equipped home, not just a rental. Also, Laurie and Todd are extremely kind and responsive. I can’t say enough great things about our experience. We are absolutely hoping to stay again!

Incredibly Beautiful Place With Every Amenity

I just took my family on a vacation to Lake Almanor. Laurie’s place is incredible. It has every amenity (especially in the kitchen) including AC in each bedroom, nice BBQ, fire pit for s’mores, games, putting green in the garage, bikes, kayaks and the list goes on! We will absolutely stay here again. Great value!!

Another Great Time!

This is our second time staying here. Great location in the country club, well equipped with fun toys, and just a comfortable and nice house overall. We stayed with friends whom also own a couple VRBOs and they are taking with this some great tips for their rentals. Thanks again Laurie!

Perfect place for our family. Very clean, neat, and the labels on everything was a helpful and appreciated touch. The beds were extremely comfy, and the AC unit in every room kept everyone happy. Our family had the best sleep we’ve ever had on vacation at this cabin—we can’t wait to stay again! The golf cart was highly appreciated as well!

We had an amazing stay! We could’ve stayed another week! The house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Laurie & Todd have thought of every single detail and more, from the completely stocked kitchen, golf cart, kayaks, and COMFORTABLE beds!! Annual Almanor trip

The cabin was great for a family. Clean and well maintained with a full kitchen. Has access to the Country Club amenities which we took full advantage of. Add to it great weather for sitting on the porch and playing games. Host was great. Communication was great and everything went off without a hitch. I highly recommend this cabin and host.

Nice and Cozy

The house is small and cozy. Kitchen living and dining room is where we were able to gather and eat and drink. Having four bedrooms we nice. Lots of stairs to climb from your car to upstairs dining room area. Nice deck with new bbq which we used. One mile from boat launch which was perfect. I would stay there again.

Beautiful Home and Setting

This is the most well-stocked home that we have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of everything and it feels like everything is so well organized and you never have to look for anything in the kitchen. The property is in a beautiful setting and the neighbors are very friendly, so much so that we felt like we were at home. The beds are also very comfortable and the Alexa system is a very nice touch.
