Westlake Vacation Packages

We stayed 2 nights to do some salmon fishing. Pro's- Location- with a dock that we got picked up at for our guided trip right behind the building. Room was good sized Balcony was very nice TV was large and easy to use. Con's- Location- not near to restaurants. Only one across the street and no breakfast available. Never got room service and when asked about this the guy said it's only on request. Would have been nice to know this. Carpet in room was dirty and gross. Room smelled like dirty feet. No breakfast whatsoever. In fact, bring your own if you're fishing on certain days of the week because nothing is open. McKays store offers sandwiches and breakfast burritos. We found this by accident. The pool was overly chlorinated or something-very cloudy water. Only stairs no elevator so keep that in mind. My biggest issue...the blaring lights on the balcony and out the front is great for security but awful for sleep!! I didn't sleep the first night and barely the 2nd.

Room was clean and the staff were nice and helpful. The hotel had a great breakfast. Great location and we enjoyed walking on the beach behind the hotel.

We appreciated the overall relaxed atmosphere. Our late check in was a breeze. Our modern cabin was clean, the staff was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Our view was stunning and we enjoyed having s’mores around our campfire. We enjoyed a leisurely night swim in the pool, which was well kept and clean. We chose Bay Point Landing because the property is pet friendly. Our dog enjoyed our walks around the Bay. We will definitely be back whenever we visit Coos Bay!
