Relaxing time

We wanted to find a perfect cabin for a few days to relax and go fishing and found it!! We had the perfect time at Jim’s place, he was so easy to work with from day one. The stocked lake was great for fishing and easy to walk to from the cabin. We cooked on the grill every night, then played games (he has a lot of games for the guests to use), watched movies and basically relaxed! The kitchen has everything for people that like cooking. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are beautifully done. There are chairs and picnic tables by the lake and we spent hours there! I will recommend to friends and family and would go back again. Don’t hesitate! Book and enjoy!!

Nice Vacation away from the Norm

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, its out of the way and no one bothered you, did meet the owner while fishing with my son at their lake. Great place to relax with friends or family.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Awesome hosts! (We can’t say that enough). The place is amazing. It was very clean and beautiful. The property is gorgeous! Communication and care was timely and excellent. We hope (and plan) to return. This is a great place to make memories. We stayed for our honeymoon and they went the extra mile with a warm greeting that was very personal and generous.

Enjoyed Our Visit

We had a nice, relaxing time during our stay. Jim was very attentive and we enjoyed chatting with him and his wife. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. Very peaceful setting. The pond is accessible via a short trail walk from the cabin and has a pretty steep hill to climb once you get there. Bring your boots, the trail is very muddy when it rains.

Very comfortable!

We stayed for my mom’s birthday. We took everything we needed for three nights. Very comfortable and the fire was warm in a snow storm. Lovely golden retriever came to visit as we were leaving. He was amazing. Just made our day as we are dog lovers. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place. Peaceful weekend.

Beautiful, Well-Appointed Cabin

This cabin has everything you need already on hand and setup. From paper towels, to hand soap, to premium toilet paper, to shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (and so much more), the property managers seem to have thought of everything to make your stay easy. The kitchen is gorgeous and has a regular coffee pot AND a Keurig. The gas fireplace puts out a lot of heat and was so cozy and relaxing. Lots of comfy living room furniture, and nice beds and bedding. The master bath is stunning with a gorgeous shower and deep jetted soaker tub. I love how much light the master bedroom and bath get due to the windows. I also love the setup of the house with the master suite on one side and the other two bedrooms and bath separated from it by the common space. We appreciated the decor too. Oh, and I loved that the master bedroom had a big TV mounted up high on the wall to make movie night from bed so comfortable.

A “Must Stay”!

We take a family Christmas trip every year. We are new to Vrbo. We needed an accessible friendly home with space for 4-5 people and 2 pups. Check, check, and check! All with this property that Jim has created and maintained beautifully. The photos are very accurate. It was decorated for the Holidays—such a nice surprise! Our pups loved the mud and the trails. Both the indoor gas fireplace and the external outdoor fire pit were the best addition for the weather. As a cook, I adored the kitchen and the availability of items to cook with. It really was just a great option and experience for our family.

Thanksgiving Fun

Since this was a Thanksgiving stay, the kitchen was an important detail. It was an amazing kitchen plenty of room for all 5 of us to cook and hang out all at the same time. We loved the fireplace made it feel so cozy. The bedrooms were nice sized and the primary with the ensuite was wonderful. The property was lovely we took a couple small hikes around. The lake is just beautiful. We would most definitely stay here again! Thank you

Fantastic place to stay

Wonderful property and the hosts have thought about most everything. They made sure we knew that should we need something they would do their best to provide it. There is several small towns with the area with wonderful shops. There are two Amish bakeries and gift shops. Definitely recommend staying there.

Fall Family Getaway

This cabin is a hidden gem! It’s extremely clean with a rustic but still modern feel. My family enjoyed our short hike to the beautiful lake on the property. The location is perfect - away from the hustle and bustle but only a short drive to town. We’ll be back!

Amazing

What an amazing place!! The entire house was very clean, and included everything you could imagine you need. The house was decorated with fall items that made it even more cozier. We enjoyed the fishing lake everyday catching a variety of fish- it was so much fun! Jim was such a great host with any questions I had. Thank you for making our mini vacation so relaxing.
