Loved Our Stay
The house and its location are lovely, just as described. Our 4 year old loved the playroom with toys and flying paper airplanes down the hill in the backyard. We had one (very minor) issue while there and they responded to us immediately. I would definitely recommend!

It’s fair
We could tell no one had been in the house for a long time. This is one of those VRBO’s that you could easily pick apart or easily praise . It’s an old farm house that has had some renovations. We stayed here in the middle of August for a week, we were on motorcycles and really enjoyed having a garage to keep them in. I would start here again

Spacious and interesting house on a quiet road
We were delighted to find that the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of excellent tools, silverware, glassware, sharp knives, cooking pots and pans etc. The beds were comfortable (at least ours was), the water was good tasting.
The house seems to be under renovation, for example - our bedroom on the first floor has a hole in the ceiling with part of the works stuffed above the ceiling - the room was dark despite bedside lamps and a floor lamp. Also there is a nail protruding out of the floor between the bathroom and bed in that first floor bedroom which my husband stepped on several times in the dark. The 2nd floor bedroom over the playroom was chilly and the thermostat was hanging out of the wall. The lighting was awkward and/or minimal in most rooms except the kitchen and over the larger dining table. The kitchen worked well, except we found the glasswasher full of water and the ice maker did not work. Some ice trays probably would be appreciated by the next renters.
The "great room" does not have good light for reading. The dining table was the only place with seating for all seven of us to be together (and we had to move a chair from the kitchen to do that).
Regarding the rating for communicating with property manager - I did not communicate during our stay, only once some days before we drove there.

Beautiful VT getaway!
This home was so beautiful, we are already planning our return trip! It is clean, spacious, and is full of beautiful natural light. It still has tons of Vermont farmhouse charm with all the modern amenities you could ever want! The yard is large and there was plenty of space for the kids to explore. Even though there is a ton to do in the area, we didn’t want to leave the house because it was so cozy and beautiful!

Good quiet location - nice property
Our family of 5 enjoyed this location while the leaves were changing for fall. Close enough to town for an evening dinner and far away enough to get away. The yard was nice to have the kids get out and run around. Enough room inside to also spread out.
One thing to note, there are no window coverings, so when the sun is up, you are up.
Also, when we arrived two of the advertised rooms were locked. We were looking forward to having our kids not have to share a bed, but only two of the 4 upstairs rooms were available. Attempts to contact via email and VRBO to have these unlocked were ignored. Zero stars for host interaction.
