We had an amazing stay at this beach cottage! It was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location by the march with the ocean just across the street. We loved that it was so pet-friendly and perfect for relaxing beach walks. It truly felt like a peaceful escape, and we would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely lovely stay. So many seabirds in the marsh. The ocean is a block away. Relatively private and the cottage is sweet. Look forward to returning!

Fantastic location, easy check-in, well stocked kitchen and plenty of house linens. Limited 3 prong plugs and no bathroom outlets but incredibly minor issue, would have just planned for that.

Peaceful, comfortable and clean. The best was how close the beach was. The neighbors were all very friendly. Everything was provided even beach towels.Thank you for such an easy stay.Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A fun week with beautiful weather. The view from the sun room was spectacular to watch the sunsets and the wildlife on the marsh. Very easy walk to the beach. The only negatives were that the access key pad took some getting used to, and the bathroom was small and a little dated (not show-stoppers).

It's a small -- but cute -- cottage. There were 2 adults, 2 kids, and a dog. It was a little cozy but we made it work. The location is great!

What a fantastic spot at Wells! This whole process was smooth as butter! The house was so cute and filled with anything you could need! We enjoyed dinner out and a dinner in! We would use this spot again!

Loved our stay here! Inside: Small, but not in a bad way. Felt like being in a camper bathroom, plently of sleeping room, and honestly more closet space than some other places ive rented. Outside: AMAZING! Beautiful location, tide comes right up. Perfect for a paddle or sip some coffee and watch the sea birds. Gorgeous sunsets. Cant beat the beach across the street. I visited with husband and 2 teen girls. We had a blast, and will definitely be back!

Clean and quiet

Its a nice little place. Very clean with an amazing view of the sunset from the couch or back yard. Kinda small though so id recommend just a couple people. Id stay again. The Beach is maybe a 5 minute walk away.

A Maine marsh-side delight

This rustic cottage on the marsh side of Wells beach was a delightful place to stay for 2 adults and their dog. The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and in VRBO reviews and was spotlessly clean upon arrival.

Happy stay!

It is a dated home but clean and comfortable. It was very well equipped in regard to towels/linens as well as the kitchen dinnerware, cookware, utensils etc. Everything you could possibly need at a vacation home.

Great Location.

Just a few minutes to beach where there is plenty of room, even at high tide. Gorgeous sunsets, especially if the tide happens to in. This is our second year here. We'll be back.

We relaxed

Spent morning sitting in front room watching the tide come in before going out exploring. Is a very cute place in a very quiet neighborhood. Only drawback could be how small the bathroom is but it’s doable. We had a great time and would stay again.

Great little cottage with an amazing sunset view!

The cottage is small, but it was the perfect amount of space for my mom, dog, and myself. It was clean, the neighbors were friendly, and the sunset views were absolutely amazing. Thankfully, we could walk to the beach and to the shops because construction traffic on the little road had us blocked in during the day, but we enjoyed exploring on foot! I would definitely stay here again!

Beach, views and coziness

Great location, stunning views and super cozy feeling! We only had small glitches and things to note: some of the outlets/the toaster oven seem to not work properly; the wifi didn't work but we were able to set it up with the help of the property manager; and there is construction on neighboring properties. Would visit again!

the cottage sits on a dead eat road so very quiet 4 minute stroll to beach every thing you need is provided unless you need a dishwasher and w/d
