Pet Friendly Hotels in Wellington

"We stayed in a deluxe villa on the estate. Communication prior to arrival was excellent and it was easy to book a reasonably priced transfer from the airport. They kindly allowed us a complimentary (very) early check in and that was fantastic after a long flight. The room was very spacious with a stunning view from the patio. It was quiet and peaceful. There was a working kitchen with a coffee machine and tea and coffee and complimentary wine, beer and snacks. The amenities were very comprehensive. The bed was large and comfortable with good air conditioning. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of cut fruit, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon and pastries plus a cooked to order hot choice (including eggs royale!). My husband is very fussy about his coffee but said the coffee he was served was perfect. We had lunch and dinner there and although there was limited choice, all the meals were very tasty and the portions large. We had a private wine tasting of five of the Estate’s wines which we really enjoyed. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend a stay here if in stellenbosch. "

"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. The room was beautful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of cooked to order choices, and I will miss dining next to the fire in the evenings - the chef was amazing! "It was a lovely property. Helpfully located for the vineyards via taxi. The area was under good security survelliance. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern and has a lot of art on show. Rooms were spacious and clean and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend "
