Fun in DC and good times at our VRBO

Capital Hill neighborhood is so nice and so easy to navigate. The VRBO is in such a great location! We enjoyed staying there and enjoying the city and coming back to play cards and recharge.

Enjoyed our time

The place is accurately described. It is clean and decorated nicely. The neighborhood was nice and right by the LOC, Supreme Court & Capitol. The mattress in the first bedroom is not real comfortable, the upstairs noise is very significant in the early morning (7:30am) and at night. The only other negative was the couch is not vey comfortable to relax on after a long day site seeing.

Wonderful location

We really enjoyed this VRBO. Had everything we needed for our family of 4 which included 2 adult children. Excellent location. Just a short walk or Uber ride to most attractions. Mexican, pizza, burgers, upscale casual dining all within a short 4-6 block walk. Beautiful neighborhood. Owner was very responsive when we asked that an extra blanket be dropped off one night - we had it within the hour. Good communication. I would stay here again.

Location, location, location!

This apartment is comfortable and super convenient to DC's museums, the Capitol, SCOTUS, Library of Congress, and more. There are great restaurants within walking distance, easy grocery delivery, and the two bathrooms make it easy to get ready for the day on stays with multiple people. It is nicely appointed, and someplace we would return to for future DC trips.

Great location to explore DC

Very comfortable stay on Capitol Hill; Space was as pictured and well supplied; Our group of 5 had plenty of space to relax; Check in was easy; Communication with owner was helpful; Portable cots could use new mattresses as the memory foam is clearly remembering past guests! Missing a hair dryer, which was listing on the available items.

Great Location

Great location, clean and enough room for what we needed. It was great to be able to get parking passes for both cars. My husband says ability to parallel park is a must. We had no problems but when we had questions the host responded quickly

Worked just Perfectly for Us

My adult daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The location was the best and allowed us to walk everywhere on our schedule , just like we wanted to. I understand there is a subway conveniently located nearby and we did uber once from the movie theater bc it was pretty late. Neither of us ever felt fearful while walking around , even in the evening and we are both veterans of cities. Nor did we worry about our car while it was parked on the street. Just an amazing location! It was extremely clean, The towels, sheets, and bedding, were all high quality and soft and made sleeping very comfortable. I always like to make some food when I stay at VRBOs and the kitchen set up had everything I could want. Paper towels, dish soap, sponge silverware , pots and pans of all sizes, a Keurig w pods available, a stove that worked well and a good refrigerator! All greatly appreciated. IKE was extremely responsive when we had a couple of questions. Entry was a breeze. Just be patient with the keypad. It works great but be deliberate , it is not an iphone. lol We felt very fortunate that we were able to stay at this apt and enjoyed our stay.

Family Trip

This was our last stop after visiting a few other citys. It was our favorite place to stay. So comfortable and accomodating. Absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Everything you need

It was a pleasure staying here. The location is exactly as described both being walking distance to the capital and surrounding area and sites and fully stocked w/ supplies and amenities. Ike was very responsive and cooperative. There are only 3 things that keep this from being a 5 star review...The damp and rusty entry to the basement apartment, the squeaky sagging cots in the living room and the noise in the master bedroom. None of which negatively affected the overall experience too much but could be addressed however.

Three wonderful days at the mall

My family stayed at this conveniently located and reasonably priced VRBO so we could see the national mall and all its sights. The location was perfect for walking every day to all the museums and monuments. Amenities and provisions were just right. Thanks for everything.

Excellent location!

The basement apartment is very well-located, only a few blocks from the Capitol and Supreme Court. It is comfortable and well-appointed. The owner was very responsive, and checked in on us through VRBO messaging to ensure our stay was going well. Would certainly return!
