The rooms were very spacious and the one we booked had a kitchenette which was nice when travelling. The bed was comfortable and soft. The hotel was 3 blocks from Mt Vernon metro station and this was only a couple of stops from L’Enfant station where most of the other lines go through so easy to change to get places. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is no self parking so expect to pay $$ for valet. There is a parking lot across the street but I didn’t see how much. We had problems in 2 rooms with the heating but the other room was good. The breakfast had a good variety and there was tables and chairs and a fire place down stairs to hang around.

I checked in room no. 808, the heater was not functioning and the mechanic came and said he could not do anything. He reset the system and went off. It was very cold. Requested the reception and they said they have no option and asked to check any other room room.

Good location. Had to wait a while for checkin because the front desk person was in the bathroom. They also didn’t have tooth paste available and told me that I could buy it across the street. Other than that, it was nice and cozy. I did like being greeted each time I got off of the elevator. I also liked the convenience of having my key on my phone rather than carrying the card.
