Stunning and spacious 5 bedroom Victorian House (Grade II listed) beautifully renovated. Located in the small hamlet of West Challow, 3 miles from the historical market town of Wantage and 18 miles from Oxford. The house is situated in the Vale of the White Horse, on the edge of the Lambourn Downs proving an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. It is not far from the popular Cotswolds which are 30 minutes - Buscot, Lechlade-on-Thames and Burford, the Gateway to the Cotswold. Bath, Bristol, Windsor and Cheltenham are all within 1 hours car journey away. Other popular tourist destinations are Blenheim Palace, Bicester Outlet Centre, Newbury races and Henley.
More locally, within walking distance from the house itself, is the village of Childrey with a park, 2 churches and the highly popular, award winning Childrey Stores where you can stock up on essentials or stop for a delicious cake and tasty coffee. We are spoilt for traditional, popular local pubs providing great food and fine dining (booking advised). You may, of course, not want to leave this house which is ideal for family get-togethers, friends’ reunion or group holidays. All supermarkets provide online delivery to the door.
