I made two consecutive bookings; I was unable to amend my original; and whilst they were able to put them together so I had the same room for the duration, the 2nd booking was made for me and my wife rather than just I. However on arrival at my room for the 2nd booking, despite having had to check out and check back in again, the room had not been made up. The bed was unmade, the towels were old, there was no water in the room, AGAIN. I was forced to settle my extra's bill on checking out of the 1st booking but the restaurant staff (excellent by the way, thank you Iona, Elena and Geri) had to chase me up to my bedroom to take a credit card payment for my 2nd stay because they now apparently couldn't charge to the room. I told the lady taking the payment that we were disappointed that the room wasn't made up and that there was no water AGAIN, and despite that no one came to bring us water.
Disappointed.
