A tranquil native garden setting, perfect as a writers' or artists' retreat or for those seeking an escape from busy lives. Enjoy garden walks, evening birdsong or a game of Pétanque. Continental breakfast (with local produce) provided. Microwave and Air Fryer also available for meal preparation. Separate studio room with a garden courtyard and ensuite bathroom. Your hosts Patricia and Gerard have a comprehensive knowledge of Aotearoa / New Zealand's many attractions and have travelled and worked in 29 other countries and are happy to share a wine in the garden with guests. Patricia speaks French, Italian and Te Reo Maori as well as English.

Patricia and Gerard are great hosts. Very comfortable room with all we needed to make our stay enjoyable including a range of home made foods for breakfast. The property is set in a beautiful garden created by Gerard over several years. The location is ideal for a break in the journey from Queenstown to Christchurch. I would happily recommend a stay at this location.

Amazing Stay

This was the exact getaway I was looking for. The sleepout was brand new and very tidy. Shower was amzing and the bed very comfy. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. Cannot express how great this stay was! Thank you Gerard and wife (sorry I can't remember your name)
