Compared with other Suva hotels, the Tanoa Plaza is a good choice. The rooms are not huge, but adequate if you don't camp out in them. Minimal choice of TV stations, but one can get the news. Nice queen-size bed. Nice shower. Minimal toiletries but adequate. The room safe us big enough for a 13 inch laptop, but getting it to work might take a few hours. Room service and the restaurant has only a minimal but adequate selection. The only real complaint was the bellman service. When they run off with one's stuff, including the briefcase while checking in, and then try to see what code one is trying to enter into the room safe; that is either very poor training or nefarious intent.

The property is located on Port Denarau, it is very convenient location. But the internet is pretty bad. Not for people that are looking to do leisure and work. Leisure is great, kitchen utensils need major upgrade.

The resort itself was wonderful and We had a great time. The only problem we had was with my booking with Orbitz. I booked all inclusive but when we arrived it was a standard booking. Just free breakfast. But that didn't stop us from having a great time. "No worry, no hurry" we were on Fiji time. Would stay there again! Vinaka!
