House was just as described with everything that we could possibly need (including hand soap). Beds were comfortable and a/c worked great! Would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials. Great location in a gated community with Mountain View’s and a 5-10 min drive to the beaches. Mother-in-law suite sold it for us. Would definitely stay again.

Hawaii Family Vacation

This was a perfect house for our family of 6. The location is convenient to the local beaches, grocery stores and restaurants. It was clean, comfortable and just what we were looking for. The views and the beach and surrounding mountains were spectacular.

Great space for family with breathtaking views. Loved the fact that everyone had their own bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed but dishwasher was leaking so we ended up hand washing. Clothes dryer took a long time to dry clothes. Location was further from attractions than expected. Because of traffic it took us two hours to get to Pearl Harbor and other side of island one way. Pool, hot tub and exercise gym were fantastic.

Lots of space

Great house, lots of space, but limited only by geography. KoOlina lagoons are 20 minutes. Waikiki or Wiamea are more like 50-60 minutes. Gated community. Great value if you’re willing to drive some.

Our group of seven (five adults and two children) spent almost s week at this vacation home, and it was a wonderful experience. The sweeping views of the Makaha Valley paired with the ocean backdrop were simply breathtaking and awe inspiring. Every morning felt like a postcard moment.The house itself was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our group. It had everything we needed to feel at home.While the drive to popular tourist spots was a bit long, we appreciated the chance to see daily life on the leeward side of the island. It gave us a more authentic feel of the community and appreciation for life in the county.Living in a gated community added a sense of security and warmth. Each day we were greeted with smiles and friendly alohas, which made us feel very welcome.The gym and pool were excellent and well-maintained. Inside the home, the kitchen amenities made cooking easy, and the inclusion of beach towels and toys was a thoughtful touch that the kids especially enjoyed.Overall, this stay gave us both comfort and connection—beautiful views, a welcoming community, and amenities that made our vacation stress-free and memorable. We would happily return!

Beautiful, clean house in beautiful location

Other than the home missing some basic amenities (hangers, baking pans, mixing bowls), it was really easy to stay here. The home is very clean and beautiful and it is set in a very, very beautiful location. A special feature of this place was the separate studio that was included. We would definitely stay here again! Snorkeling in the area was not very good. We recommend Pokia Bay state park for swimming, especially with small children. We also recommend the Ko Olina Lagoons for swimming with small children. Other suggestions in the area: The Beach House restaurant and the Ko Nau Lani whale watch tour.

I am grateful for the hassle-free experience my ohana enjoyed here, thanks to the friendly neighbors and clean surroundings that provided ample space for the kids to explore. I will always prefer such accommodations over hotels.

a lifesaver

We grabbed this home last minute as the other rental we had reserved was absolutely NASTY! This home was bright and clean, everything was as listed, super comfy beds and the extra studio was really nice to have! We had an issue with the hot water heater timer as the power had gone off for a few hours and the maintenance person was very quick to reply!! There were a couple random kitchen items that would have been nice to have available, but overall we loved it and 100% would stay here again!

The only thing is that is far from everything if you are vacationing and you have to drive through the worst places in Hawaii. In order to get to anything you have to drive through the homeless population and they are everywhere and taking over the beaches in this part of town.

It's 1.5 miles from one of the most beautiful quite beaches on the island. A small drive to the city. We couldn't have found a better place for all of us to come together and visit with him. If this house was for sale, we would buy it today! Ali'i Beach Rentals was quick to respond to whatever questions I had. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay, everything was exceptional. Area was far from most things we wanted to do about an HR drive everyday so I would consider this but the place itself was amazing. The area around wasn’t so nice driving to the house but once you enter the neighborhood it gets way better and feels safe and secure. Felt great knowing my kids could play and hang out outside very quiet and safe area. Do not hesitate to book owners are super nice and helpful and easy to work with.

Needs improvement

Overall the house/community was good but lacking in amenities. The sheets and towels need to be replaced. They were very worn and there were not enough towels or washcloths. Two dish towels and one sponge are not enough for a week’s stay. We had to do multiple loads of laundry to have enough towels. The dryer isn’t the greatest. It had to be started multiple times in order to dry a load. WiFi was insufficient. We had use of the WiFi for about three days and it no longer worked.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful surroundings in the home we rented. Driving from the airport, we were skeptical because the town we drove through looked rough. We witnessed lots of homeless people wandering around and it was very sketchy shopping locally. Once we got to the prosperity, we were amazed how beautiful it was and it gave us peace of mind knowing we were in a gated community. The cons were the fridge in the MIL suite did not work properly & we reached out and was told someone would come and fix it & that did not happen. The back 2 burners on the stove in the main house didn’t work and we called because we had garbage overflow and was told someone would pick it up & that did not happen. We made it work but the communication to get our needs met were poorly handled. We will be back but unsure if we will use the same company due to the poor communication.

Loved this house

We had no idea what the area would be like when we booked since this was our first time visiting Hawaii. It was super clean & had a nice layout. The neighborhood was very safe since there is a manned guard at the gate and you cannot get in w/o stopping. The view from both the street & house were great. You can see the sea & being surrounded by the mountains was beautiful. The sky was unobscured for a view of the moon and stars. We had 9 people in the house & never felt too crowded. 6 of our party were females & we all use 2 towels for showering. One for hair & one for body. When I booked I had to put the number of guests so they knew we were a party of 9, but there were 8 sets of towels. I requested 7 more bath towels & 5 hand towels, but that got mixed up. We made it work. The pull out couch did not have sheets nor pillows. I asked for a set of sheets & pillows but only got a flat sheet. We made it work. The kitchen was nice, but there were no kitchen towels. The rental company provides paper towels but if you hand wash anything it’s very wasteful to use paper towels to leave wet dishes on to dry. I went to Walmart & bought a cheap pack of 2. My 2 biggest complaints are this: the king bed in the upstairs master slopes in the center. My husband kept rolling into the middle & we were had knees in backs & knees knocking knees. That sucked. My other complaint is the family room config. The little settee was uncomfortable. Switch the furniture around
