Quinta Dom José is a Manor House since 1871, which offers you the unique and exclusive experience of relaxing, while enjoying the beauty and memories of the romantic Northern Portugal.

Quinta Dom José have a wonderful garden, 2 swimming pools (children and adults), tennis court, wine tasting, bicycles, a nearby river beach, as well horseback riding, hunting and fishing. The house is located in Lage, near the village of Vila Verde and City of Braga, a central location to visit the north of Portugal: historical cities as Braga, Guimarães, Barcelos, Ponte de Lima, Natural Park of Gerês, Viana do Castelo and Porto.

The house is characterized by large and cozy spaces and includes 8 bedrooms with private bathroom, 2 kitchens, dining and living room. Outdoor spaces are unique, with 10000m2 of gardens, bike circuits, 2 fantastic pools with lots of sun, 1 tennis court and fantastic lawn, organic vegetable garden. These surrounding complete the testimony of the history of this magnificent place. The gardens were ornamented with more than 20 different fruit trees, vines and flowers throughout the farm. Customers can book 6 or 8 rooms with exclusive use of the swimming pools, towels, sheets are provided on arrival, cleaning is done once a week. This accommodation has a permanent reception and various services can be requested at an extra cost, such as: buffet breakfast, delivery of food from the restaurant and car rental with driver (external services), etc.

12 pragtfulde dage i Villa Verde området

Utroligt behageligt ophold, hvor værterne fik alt til at fungere til vores tilfredshed, selv om de i øvrigt holdt sig i baggrunden. For en familie med 8 voksne og 8 børn i alderen 2 til 15 var det et ideelt feriested. Og værterne kom med fine anbefalinger til aktivitetsmuligheder. Udflugter til Braga, Porto, Atlanterhavet, Guimaraes samt jeep udflugt til Geres og ture til flodstrande gav de 12 dages ferie ekstra kolorit - og så var der altid det dejlige pool område at vende tilbage til - med kolde øl og vand samt vin fra køleskabet ved pool køkkenet ;-)En stor tak til værten Leonel Macedo og hans familie for et pragtfuldt ophold i Portugals solskin!
