The place was great, great service, with VERY close access to public transport. Other than one Döner Kebap place, there is very little for the average person to do in the vicinity. Do not let that stop you from using this facility, because most of what is worth doing you would need to get on public transport to access anyway.

Nice hotel and decent transport links close to underground station. Stayed for 3 night and the room wasn’t made up at any point but I’m guessing that is perhaps standard. One disappointment was that the pillows were really uncomfortable to me. I asked if they had any softer pillows and they didn’t.

As someone that stays in about a dozen hotels each year (between work and leisure), this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in (in my life). It is a beautiful hotel, beautiful hotel room and the staff is exceptional. As an English speaking Canadian visiting, the staff were beyond accommodating and kind. This hotel is a big part of the reason I look forward to returning back to Vienna. Thank you!

The hotel itself is very nice and we would stay here again. It is located in a very boring, non-descript neighborhood, but its saving grace is that it is only one block away from the metro, so in this respect, its location is very good. The only negative criticism we have, is that the staff at the front desk was not able (did not know?) how to use the public transportation system to reach Vienna airport. Currently, taking either a taxi or transfer service costs 50 euros, which is quite steep. We could not figure out how use public transportation, so we asked the front desk to order a taxi for us. BTW, taxis and transfer services should all accept credit cards, but just to be sure, before you enter a cab, ask the driver if he accepts credit cards. When we flew into Vienna and got a taxi to go to the hotel, we did not ask, When we arrived, the cost was 50 euros and the driver demanded cash only - we barely had enough cash to give him.

I specifically booked this hotel for air condition as many EU hotels don’t have air condition and even confirmed with them in advance, however when I arrived they told me there is NO air conditioning and its limited to day time. They refused to help, accommodate or compensate me.

We stayed at Moxy Vienna East for 4 nights. The location is just around the corner from a U Bahn station is great. There are also supermarkets and a laundry close by. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We unfortunately had an issue with the air conditioning in our room and after the first night the cleaning and electrical staff were fantastic in fixing it in a timely manner. The breakfast (17 Euro) had good options and there was a nice atmosphere down in the reception/breakfast/bar area. I enjoyed using the gym whilst staying. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
