This is a hotel that has been renovated and, despite its facade is very modern in design. The rooms are compact ( not large) and very clean. Our room had a nice balcony with lovely views across the city. The hotel is located in a beautiful area of the city with lovely shops and great restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was adequate, but the breakfast space is limited and we saw later that people were queuing. It is very popular with Camino pilgrims like ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good stay on the Camino Portuguese

This hotel was a pretty good deal mainly due to the awesome breakfast in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful and said we could make a sandwich and take some fruit for lunch for our Camino walk. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff is very helpful and responsive. The hotel is located very close to shops and restaurants. The big problem was the room fragrance!! They might be using cleaning products or room sprays.. even the bed sheets felt "soaked" in parfum. We had to keep the window open the whole night. I don't recommend this hotel to anybody who has allergies or astma. During the night my friend had to use a lot her astma inhaler because she couldn't breath!

The hotel was clean and well located. The staff was very friendly. I would just suggest adding some hooks on the wall or back of doors as there is nowhere at all to hang anything in the wc or room, besides the closet.

Since Portugal relaxed its restrictions I was very keen to support this little hotel. I have been here quite a few times since the late 90s and I love staying here. The hotel has been revamped considerably since my first visit, it's spotlessly clean, the furnishing is simple but contemporary and the breakfast excellent bearing in mind the money you have paid for the room. The staff took their COVID cleaning duties very seriously and I felt very safe there. The staff are brilliant and very welcoming and caring. This hotel represents excellent value for money, it's in a central location and is a real gem.
