What a lovely hotel. Next door to the arena and so close to restaurants and bars. The room was clean and very comfortable. The roof top bar with great views across the city. But it is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff which makes this hotel amazing we will definitely stay again

A find in Verona!

This hotel is a small boutique property steps away from the Arena di Verona. There are amply restaurants, museums and historical sites within easy walking distance. — The property is expertly run, with a competent, charming and professional team at the front desk, concierge and housekeepIng. We have been to Hotel Milano twice and each time our room included an outdoor space. Also, the terrace bar on the rooftop is lovely with priceless views of the ancient Arena.

Disappointing. We booked this hotel for the terrace and spa pool. Although it was made clear that the apartment was in a separate building, I hadn't appreciated that it was almost a kilometer away and at a separate property, until I got the confirmation from Verona House Aparthotel instead of Hotel Milano & Spa. We paid more than other options because of the appeal of the terrace not realising that it was some distance away and we couldn't just use it whenever we wanted or simply to relax. To use the terrace during the day you have to book in advance and pay an additional €20 per person (not indicated on the website). After 3pm the terrace is used as a bar and restaurant and is open to the public, so we could have booked that anyway. The room we had the first night (number 52 on the ground floor) was awful! It was tiny, dark, smelly and noisy - we could hear the lift going up and down and hear every word from reception. The bathroom light was triggered by a motion censor, so went off when I was in the shower, there was no toilet roll holder or soap dish and the shower was mouldy and the shower door broken... They moved us to a different room on floor 2 on the second night when I told them how noisy it was. The second room was lovely, exactly what we would have expected for the price we paid. Positives: lovely staff, very good breakfast and bikes available to borrow. Negatives: not very environmentally friendly, towels changed constantly and no option to ask them not to.

Location, style and service!!

Everything was great. If going to the opera, this is the PERFECT place to say. The location is amazing, and the rooftop bar and restaurant are wonderful with views of the Arena! Also, multilingual staff were friendly and very courteous.

The people at reception are so kind. i forgot my insulin needles and the young man who works there, Nicola, actually walked me to the pharmacy. The pharmacist gave me my needles for free. Later, when i had to move to another accommodation, Nicola walked me to my new place. The service offered is outstanding!

What a surprise! We didnt expect the staff to be so nice. Room was lovely with an amazing view. The staff went out of their way to get me a gluten free breakfast. 100% recommend. Location was perfect. Everything was perfect about this hotel

Perfection

Milano & Spa is perfectly located - right in the heart of Verona, yet still peaceful. It was spotless throughout, and the service was outstanding. Every member of staff, from reception to the terrace bar, went out of their way to make our stay special. The rooms are stunning, with beautiful, decor that made it feel like a luxury escape. One of the standout highlights was the rooftop jacuzzi, which is free for guests to use. Sipping a drink while overlooking the Roman arena was the perfect way to unwind - absolutely breathtaking. I loved this hotel and would come back in a heartbeat. The staff are a real credit to the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. They even made sure we had fresh water for our onward journey
