Very close to the Arena and other attractions in Verona, just a short walk to the opera, but just a little bit off the most traveled streets. Very clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. And the air conditioning was very effective.

The hotel staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The property is in a wonderful location walking distance from the center and along a beautiful river. Lots of activity, dining and shopping options nearby. Verona ended up being one of our favorite cities of our trip and we will definitely stay at Casa Fola again.

Great location - great host

The plusses are wonderful location close to Castelvecchio, which makes it extremely easy to reach from the Porto Nuova railway station and on major bus routes if you choose not to walk. Manola, the host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was large and everything was clean and in proper condition. The minuses: stairs and more stairs; no wardrobes or a safe.
Crowds gather under Juliet's balcony to sexually harass a 13 year-old suicide.

Great location just on the outskirts of city centre. 5 min walk from arena and old centre. Nice large room with convenient key code system but the staff were a bit unreliable in terms of arranging taxis etc. The receptionist forgot to book a taxi one day and gave us totally wrong train info on another day. Detracted from our stay a bit.

Highly recommend place when in Verona

The Hotel is very centrally located and very easy to reach by Public transport. The rooms had vwry mordern facilities and even an Air conditioner (was really the need of the hour with 36 Deg the day we visited). The host was extremely helpful and made our stay even more better with the cold bottle of water complimentary in the fridge. The breakfast was at a cafe just a few meters walk and offered a limited but delicious breakfast. To conclude a very highly recommended place for mid price to budget fare. The reception has a limited timing but made all the possible arrangements for us as we came in later than the office hours. Not recommended for travellers want super luxury hotel or a 24 hrs concierge.

super friendly owner/manager; took special interest in ensuring our stay in Verona was a success. Venue was perfect for walking access to the historic center. No elevator, so a second story climb maybe difficult for some. I reside in Italy and this will be my preferred stay for future trips to Verona.

Lovely place to stay

Excellent place to stay....lovely room, very clean, great much needed air con!, perfect location a few minutes from bars and restaurants and the city centre itself. Manola was very welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Verona and would definitely recommend to others.

everything was lovely about this hotel, would prefer breakfast at the hotel, but having to go outside to a bar on Via Roma kind of addd to the charm. could really do with tea/coffee facilities in room at this price.

The accommodations were very nice and modern and clean. Manola was very nice and helpful. The location was easily in walking distance to all areas we wanted to visit. The breakfast was in a different location but was very nice. All was high class and lovely.

Hidden Gem

Lovely, modern, clean and spacious bedroom. Malona the owner was exceptionally helpful. The main train station was only a 20 minute walk away and relatively easy to find. You don't actually get a breakfast at Casa Fola, you get a breakfast voucher to use at a nearby cafe. This consists of a hot drink, orange juice and croissant. We wished we could have stayed an extra night as Verona is such a beautiful place.

Super surprise

As the hotel is classed as a B&B we weren't sure what to expect but what a gem. The room looked like it had been recently refurbished - everything looked brand new. Manola who runs the hotel is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is great value for money - the room was spacious, cool and clean. Bathroom was small but perfectly adequate for two people. The hotel doesn't have eating facilities but don't let this deter you - each morning you have voucher to use at choice of two local cafes where you can have coffee, juice and a croissant. The breakfast is basic but both cafes have other food on offer so it doesn't cost much to 'upgrade' your breakfast. Verona is beautiful, less hustle and bustle than other places we have visited in Italy. The town is easy to navigate. Wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops.
