It was clean and very accommodating. Not much to say with regards to dislike.
I thought the place was really nice, however when we checked into our room it was never cleaned. It was utterly disgusting and when we told the front desk and then when back later, it still never got cleaned. They did accommodate us and put us in a new room that was very clean but we were disappointed, especially in these times that we had to enter a dirty room.
Beautiful place, crowded. Close to the City, long lines for equipment rentals, bring your own by lift ticket online. Hotel Studio was great.
I stayed there for my best friends wedding which I helped planned and organized. Everything was great with the hotel minus the staff. The younger guy who checked us in seem to not know anything. I understand if he’s new but then get help from a senior staff. He gave my party attitude, Very unprofessional.
The hotel is great but their charge system is not integrated. You can not charge your room anywhere in here which is inconvenient

Beautiful place..very good location. The pool is hot water so you can swin even in the coolest winter. Loved everything!
My boyfriend and I decided to take the 2 boys up to mountain creek, then decided later on in the week we would stay up there overnight. There aren't much choices for hotels in the area. So the Appalachian was our prime choice. No need to drive to the water park! The hotel itself was comfortable. Check in was a bit long. I literally only needed to be handed a card and the front desk insisted she help the ladies in front of me with a problem that she could not control but the GM needed to fix, yet I was left in the background to hear the whole story about 5 times. I get it they were there first, but if you know you cannot help them, check in the next person! Breakfast was a disaster. Jack and Ottos is downstairs and offers breakfast sandwiches. If you could only get that far. There was one person working. Ringing in items, making the sandwiches, refilling the condiments and cleaning up everyones mess. All I wanted was to purchase my bottle of orange juice but because she was completing a few orders, I was left there waiting. We had to drive down to the dunkin donuts to get our breakfast. Kind of a bummer. I hope the area starts to get more reputable restaurants because there isn't much up there. All in all we had a great time, and the people were very pleasant at the hotel.
