We were greeted very warmly and check in was very efficient. There is no lift but the very helpful man at reception offered to carry out bags. I had a room with a terrace that was perfect, the terrace is huge, bed very comfortable and the bathroom looked newly renovated. The breakfast was fine but a little bit overpriced for a modest continental breakfast, pastries fantastic though. My room did not have a fridge but my friend was in a newer room and it did have one. Location is great, 2 mins to the sea. Overall very relaxing stay, thank you.

Beach hotel Vaux sur Mer.

Delightful and quiet location with short walk to the beach. Lovely gardens and heated pool, not quite warm enough for September though! Breakfast over priced. No other food, advised to use 1 of 3 restaurants on the beach, 2 very expensive and the other basic food of dubious quality, cheaper but still expensive. Room comfortable but rather small. Pleasant private terrace from the room with table,chairs and loungers not usable in poor weather. Not really value for money as at this price you would expect some provision of food/snacks.Our room had intermittent Wifi.

Friendly comfortable hotel

We stayed at Hotel Residence de Rohan for a couple of nights whilst visiting friends in the area and the hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was great (triple) which was spacious and comfortable for the three of us and copious amounts of luggage. The owners were extremely helpful. Lovely grounds which lead straight down to a gorgeous looking beach - just a pity the weather wasn't up to the same standard

Fantastic experience

The hotel, location and service were exceptional. We stayed for 12 nights, in a family room with terrace which was big and beautiful. There are several nearby beaches and a great restaurant on the beach - The Arrosoir. We had a truly fantastic holiday. Thank you so much.

What a treasure!

The hotel is set in a lovely secluded location just a short walk down to a lovely sandy beach with a couple of lovely restaurants set on a promenade, just a fabulous stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer and we will certainly try to return again in the future.

Characterful hotel a short walk from a sandy beach

We felt very welcome from the start. After a long drive from Calais Damien met us at reception and showed us to our room. We were immediately impressed by the hotel's appearance, the gardens, the pool and its location so close to the beach. Once the car is parked you don't have to use it again. Everything is within walking distance.

Spent a couple of days here while visiting my parents who were at a local camp site. Great location beautiful hotel. Only down side was the room was far too hot and being on the ground floor didn't want to open patio doors. Ceiling fan would of helped. Also a kettle to make tea or coffee would of been appreciated but will definitely go back

The hotel was in an excellent position with beautiful grounds and attentive staff. Our room was spacious but lacked a decent shower and was very warm overnight - although ac was not practical a fan would have helped. Breakfast on the terrace was faultless and the pool area clean and well provided, although similar hotels provided pool towels (don't forget a beach towel).

A really warm welcome, 2 hours before check-in!

Having only travelled a short distance form our previous hotel we arrived just after noon. The people on reception spoke to the room cleaners and had our room ready for us at 1230!! Excellent Customer service. The room was well appointed and very comfortable; our only problem was it was on the 2nd floor!! The pool was lovely with plenty of sun beds and was very clean. It was only a short walk across the beach to the nearest of 3 restaurants. Highly recommended!!

we enjoyed our stay but thought it was quiet expensive for what you got. pool very good and we liked the breakfast at an additional cost, for what we paid it should have been included. No air conditioning so our fan was extremely useful. We stayed in the old building which we liked, the room was a superior room and had a large entrance area which was useful for bags and shoes etc (room 20). no balcony or terrace like some of the rooms. No fridge. Internet totally unreliable, only 3 times in 5 days late at night, shouldn't advertise it as a service, do not book the hotel if you consider it as essential. Location next to the beach, 3 restaurants but on the expensive side.

Lovely hotel next to the beach

The staff couldn't do enough for us. The heated swimming pool was a good size. There was a very good choice of breakfast foods and you could eat as much as you wanted.
