Casa Ferrari is a historic house in Varenna with an amazing lake view, located a stone's throw from Lake Como. Recently renovated, the ancient style has been deliberately maintained to give a touch of originality both in the architectural style, with the vaulted ceiling of the large living room, and in the furnishing accessories. The house is the right combination of ancient and modern. The large spaces, the marvelous lake views offered by the numerous windows and the central position make it exactly what you would like in Varenna!

Casa Ferrari is arranged over three floors. The living area on the first floor consists of a large living room with decorative fireplace, comfortable sofa beds, a dining table where you can enjoy the excellent Italian cuisine, a small balcony overlooking the lake with a table and chairs to sip a good glass of wine at sunset, a bathroom with tub /shower, sink, bidet and toilet and fully equipped modern kitchen.

On the second floor there is a small study with a table where you can relax reading a book and looking at our lake and a large double bedroom. The "gem" of the house is the third floor, an attic loft with an exposed wooden roof, the ideal place to enjoy the lake view while relaxing on the comfortable sofa beds and admire the colorful sunsets typical of Varenna and Lake Como.

The house has: WIFI, TV, dishwasher, toaster, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and everything needed for full use.

VarennaHolidays staff were very helpful and responsive. Lines of communication were always open, and we felt very confident and supported throughout the whole process. The property was lovely-- great views, very good location, excellent restaurants nearby, close to waterfront and the ferry. The number of steep steps came as a little bit of a surprise.

Family Visit to Lake Como

Took the train/bus to Varenna from Milan. Check in was a short walk from bus stop. Apartment was a perfect location for our visit. Public dock was right outside the apartment. Ferry was a 10 minute walk. Apartment was spacious and nice.

Perfect location on Lake Como

My family (2 adults and children ages 14, 13, 11) loved our Varenna rental on Lake Como. Walking accessible from train station, ferry port, notable villas, countless shops, many restaurants. The property was set up well for our family of five and allowed ample space for privacy and comfort. We would happily stay here again on a future trip!

Terrific Varenna experience

Recently renovated the home was very comfortable. Terrific location to all points—the main square, restaurants, the waterfront and a short walk to the ferries. We stayed on the top floor which has big windows and views of the lake and Menaggio. Very sunny and bright. The beds are sofa sleepers but they have thick mattresses, also very comfortable. The only thing we would change is to add curtains on the windows facing LaVista restaurant for more privacy. Internet was not working at arrival and someone was sent over immediately to fix it. Reliability and speed were great with 4 users. Very responsive people which is very nice. Our son and his fiancé stayed in the bedroom on the 2nd floor and found it very comfortable.
