Evitar en temporada de monzón

El hotel es bonito y el personal agradable. Habitación espaciosa y desayuno correcto. Deberían avisar previamente que su restaurante es vegetariano, lo que limita mucho la posibilidad de elección. Evitar elegir este hotel en temporada de monzón, porque es impracticable el acceso por el río y todas las entradas y salidas hay que hacerlas por el interior, cosa que no dejan clara cuando les preguntas al hacer la reserva. Es francamente sucio y poco atractivo el entorno interior del edificio.

Brijrama Palace is a stunning heritage palace on the Ganges that delivered exactly the kind of unforgettable stay I had hoped for. Everything about the property – from its architecture and ambience to the views and experiences – feels carefully crafted and truly special. From the moment we were met at the airport by the inimitable Rakesh, we felt completely looked after, and that care continued seamlessly through to our final drop-off. The private boat ride on the Ganga to the hotel’s own ghat set the scene perfectly and made our arrival feel magical. The welcome at the palace and the way the staff greeted us, always with warm, genuine and accommodating smiles, made us feel like treasured guests rather than just visitors. We stayed in the Maharaja Room, which was exceptional: spacious, elegant and full of character, with a gorgeous bathroom and every comfort we could have hoped for. Everything about our stay was truly fit for a king and queen and made us feel as though we were living like royalty. The food was excellent, with delicious dishes that matched the setting, and all the experiences offered through the hotel were thoughtfully curated and thoroughly enjoyable. From the riverside setting to the cultural touches and quiet moments of calm, it all added up to something far more than just a hotel stay. Very expensive. Elegant hotel. Room and bathrooms are very good. Food in Udyan and Dharbhanga is quite good. Access is only by boat. Lots of luggage will be a problem. All boats and boat drivers are not equal. Plan departures accounting for the boats and the traffic. Staff are eager and polite but they need more hospitality coaching.

Best Location in Varanasi Beautiful palace full of history, with easy access to explore and be fully immersed in life and local cultural activities. Great Spa services In particular we would like to give a special mention to Ashutosh on front desk,Fahad in the restaurant who made an extra effort to converse with us in Spanish and his colleagues Sandeep & Sourav. Plus the skilled hands of the Spa team who soothed our aching backs and tired feet.

We paid Rs. 50 K per night for three nights in this hotel and were expecting a five start stay. It is far from that. The staff is inadequately trained. My internet was not working in the room and I had t take an important business zoom call. I had to cancel it. The reception told me there were jammers deployed around property and that’s the reason. Later upon pushing them to fix the issue they realised their WIFi was not working in other rooms as well while it was working in the lobby and at reception. I called the spa for booking. They told me they will call me shortly. Then never called back. I had to follow up. The staff training about how to take care of guests is really not there. This property is not worth 50K a night. It’s a complete rip off. I have stayed in Oberoi / ITC / Taj many times and their service at half that room rate is phenomenal. The owners / promoters of this hotel need to deeply evaluate what value they are bringing to the guests at that price point.

I can't say enough about our recent stay at Brijrama Palace in Banaras. We were there for Shree Kashi Viswanath Darsan, and from the moment we arrived, we were completely captivated by the palace's stunning location right on the banks of the sacred Ganga. It truly feels like a place that embodies the spirit of Banaras, and our time there was amazing. The food was a major highlight. Chef Akhilesh is a genius in the kitchen—every dish was fantastic, but the Gulab Jamun was a true standout. It tasted exactly the way it's supposed to, with a genuine hint of rose. Our server, Bikas, was incredibly kind and took such good care of us in the restaurant. The best part, though, was when Chef Akhilesh came out personally to see how we liked the food and even offered to make us something we’d like for our next meal. That kind of personal attention is just incredible. What really set this hotel apart was the genuine warmth of the staff. Traveling with our five-month-old baby, we were a little stressed about logistics. But the housekeeping team went above and beyond, kindly helping with sterilizing our baby’s milk bottles. Plus, they were so helpful in arranging a wheelchair for darshan for one of our parents who had accessibility issues. Their thoughtfulness took a huge weight off our shoulders and let us just relax and enjoy our trip. The whole vibe of the palace is peaceful and welcoming. The staff's dedication to making guests feel at home is what makes this place so special. I wholehe

What a lovely and beautiful hotel!! The best place to stay in varanasi. Cecilia was beyond helpful. She made our stay wonderful. She made sure all our questions were answered. Govind and Nand were especially helpful. The chefs and waitors catered to our every need. It was a beautiful vacation.

Not accessible- avoid

Access to the property is terrible. 30 mins of walk through the very narrow and unhygienic lanes. The property itself is good and the staff is super helpful. However the access situation to go in and out absolutely crushed our experience. Not recommended.
