Good location except for sidewalk in need of repair. Natasha responded very quickly to address the concerns that we had upon arrival eg AC not working. The view was lovely. Old apartment but modern kitchen and bathroom areas. Overall very pleased. Please note (we knew beforehand) that you are climbing up three flights to the unit.

Beautiful apartment in a good part of Valletta
We really loved our stay here - the apartment is well-designed and well-equipped and the owner has done a wonderful job of modernising it while keeping the original features intact. We particularly loved the shutters, the stairwell and the doors out to the little balconies. The views are fantastic, and we enjoyed squeezing onto the front balcony (they are narrow, in the Maltese style) for our breakfast with views out beyond the harbour to the open sea.It's a 10 minute walk up to the main tourist area of Valletta - just enough distance to feel a bit more 'local' and away from the crowds while still being handy for the sights and evening drinks etc.The only thing I'd point out is that it's slightly noisy as it's high above a lively (and excellent) pizzeria that plays music in the afternoon and evening, and on weekends some fairly loud bars nearby. If this is likely to bother you then it may be worth looking elsewhere, though Valletta is generally quite a lively city and you wouldn't necessarily stay there if it's total peace and quiet you are after. We aren't particularly party people and we did love this place, including the buzz! Many thanks to Natascha for a great holiday.

Lovely apartment
This is a beautiful apartment with high end appliances, lots of natural light, very clean and the main bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The beds in the secondary bedroom are smaller than a twin beds and I found them uncomfortable. The location was fabulous with easy access to historical sites and numerous restaurants. Caution to those with mobility issues. There is no elevator and three flights of stairs to the apartment.

Fantastic apartment with amazing view!
We had a wonderful time in this amazing apartment. The apartment is spacious, bright and comfortable, and the view from the living room to the sea and St Elmo’s Fort is stunning - we loved the combination of blue sky and blue sea - especially as we were escaping a grey British winter! Natacha was very friendly and responsive. The apartment was spotless and we really appreciated having the tap which dispensed filtered water. The apartment was well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and salt, pepper, oil etc. There were also cans of the local beer and local orange soda in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The location is excellent - the next street parallel to Old Bakery Street is Strait Street with loads of bars and restaurants, then the next one over is Republic Street which is the busiest street in Valletta! There is a small shop directly across the road from the apartment and a well-stocked Spar supermarket on Republic Street a 5-10 minute walk away. We could walk easily from the apartment to everywhere in Valletta - we'd recommend walking all the way up Republic Street and into Floriana - the Argotti Botanic Gardens were lovely. The ferry port is a 15 minute walk for ferries to the Three Cities and the fast ferry to Gozo. We downloaded the Bolt app and were able to book a taxi from the apartment to the airport no problem and for a very reasonable price. We loved our time in Malta and in this apartment!

Absolutely amazing!
I cannot say enough good thing's about this appartment! Amazing location and spectacular views from the front windows! Every morning, we would watch the sunrise over the Grand Harbor and be in awe! The apartment is adorable, spacious and has everything you need down to body wash! From the apartment, you can walk to all the delicious restaurants in Valletta's historical center. A well stocked convenient store and a bakery are across the street! They sell mini fresh apple pies and bread which became our daily breakfast while we overlooked the sea from the apartment's main table. This rental is a gem! I feel privileged to have experience Malta from this beautiful homebase. I highly recommended it. It will enhance your experience of beautiful Malta!

Magnificent - couldn't imagine staying in a better place.
We stayed 4 weeks and the thoughtfully appointed apartment felt like a beautiful home from the minute we got there. Incredible views over the water and Fort St Elmo, drinks or dinners on the balcony watching the ferries come into Sliema harbour and the Fort walls light up, easy walking distance to the ferries to the Three Cities, Sliema and Gozo. Perfect location, close to everything - including being able to swim off the rocks a few minutes walk away from the apartment. Natacha was a hospitable and generous host, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend Old Bakery Street if you're staying in Valetta.

Die Wohung ist sehr gut gelegen, um Valetta zu Fuß zu entdecken. Sie ist geräumig, supersauber und der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer wirklich herrlich! Einziges Manko ist, dass die Wohnung aufgrund der Originalfenster wirklich sehr hellhörig ist. Geräusche von Pizzeria, umliegenden "Partygassen", Müllabfuhr und Autos dringen fast ungefiltert in die Wohnung, was spät abends/nachts und ganz früh morgens das Urlaubsgefühl durchaus stört. Dessen sollte man sich nur bewusst sein. Dafür ist man "mittendrin" und hat kurze Wege. Beim Supermarkt gegenüber findet man alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeberin Natasha hat sich immer schnell bei Fragen zurückgemeldet.

Perfect location for exploring Valetta

A wonderful apartment with a spectacular view
The apartment is exactly as pictured, it was spotless. It is situated in a old building dating back to the early days of Valletta, altogether there are only six flats. We only had some contact to the neighbors, everyone was friendly and we did not hear anything during the whole stay, we hope our kids were not too noisy. The view is magnificient, you have open sea view from the balconies which sorround more or less the whole apartment. The bathroom is very stylish and clean and it has daylight through a frosted glas window which can be opened. The whole apartment is equpped with AC units,, however you will hardly need them because you can create a draft from the front to the end, so you save energy and have a natural climate.
We enjoyed the stay very much, don't let you scare from the old entrance/stairway, technically the building has been upgraded to the latest standards and the apartment itself if brand new.
