The Sandstone Condo was comfortable with a nice view of the mountains and a ski lift. The condo is in a quiet area with bus service if you need it. We had everything we needed and it was close to shopping & lots of activities. The weather was hot while we were there (early July) in the afternoons, but there were 2 fans & 2 windows to open. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us.

Indeed fantastic views of Vail Mountain, perfect for watching the NYE fireworks. And indeed, very easy commute to the mountain via the bus stop right in front. There were a couple minor issues with aging unit infrastructure, which were totally surmountable and quickly addressed by the host once we messaged them. Sounds like these will be upgraded/ fixed in summer of 2026.

Place was fine. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen is very small. The kitchen sink is tiny. Electrical is a bit weird. You can't use the microwave and electric fireplace at the same time or it trips the breaker. Also, GPS doesn’t take you to the right place. Host was very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Conveniently located right on the shuttle stop to the Vail Transit Center. Functional use of space given the fairly small square footage. Updated bathroom. Old building so the ceilings are not sound insulated at all. We could hear the people in the upstairs unit all night long so we had to get ear plugs to fall asleep. The hosts were reasonably responsive and we're thankful for their assistance with check-in.
