we had a great time at the antik cave house. we didn't want to be where all the people were and this was off the beaten path but easy to navigate from. breakfast was supplied and was delicious and plentiful! yunus and his father went out of their way to help us with balloon flight reservations, taxis, airport shuttles and even a meal when we arrived late at night and were hungry and exhausted. i would recommend this place to anyone who likes a nice private quiet stay.

Otelin konumu çok güzel, otopark sorunu yok, teras manzarası fena değil, balonları görebiliyorsunuz, temizlik orta düzeyde, bizi rahatsız eden bir görüntü olmamakla birlikte çok da iyiydi diyemeyiz bu konuda,kemerli odada kaldık, jakuzili oda olarak gayet yeterli, oda genişliği vs de iyiydi. Ancak yataklarının acil olarak değiştirilmesi gerekiyor, bir gece değil bir saat bile yatmaya uygun değil yatakları. Aile işletmesi, işletmeyi yeni devralmışlar tabiki zamanla yeniliyorlardır ancak yatak durumu bence acil olarak gözden geçirilmeli. Kahvaltısı yeterliydi, kahvaltıda herhangi bir süpriz beklemeyin standart bir kahvaltı ancak bu kalitede yeterli diyebiliriz. Otel sahibinin ilgi alakası için teşekkür ederiz.

Disappointing

A charming cave hotel which we were initially pleased with. Arrived late evening and went to the roof terrace for some drinks When the bill came, we had a terrible shock and a big argument with the hotel manager. No menu showing prices and no prices stated. We were at fault not to ask the prices but GBP116.00 was just outrageous. Be warned, not to have drinks in this hotel. The manager discounted the bill quite substantially but that makes me wonder what the true prices really are!

I was on a tour as a twin share and booked my own room separately. Despite email confirmation from the motel, they initially didn't have a room. Once a room was found, it was fine. I was offered a better room for the second night but declined because the first room was fine. The twin share room booked with the tour was very claustrophobic. 1.5metre doorway. No window. Tiny bathroom. Across the facility there was a big rang in room space and quality. Many of the tour group commented that the fridge didn't work, but we had found that to be a common problem throughout Turkey. The staff were friendly, approachable, obliging. Shops and restaurants nearby. Restaurant wine is very expensive, beer is quite cheap. Wine and beer from shops is very reasonably priced. If you are claustrophobic and booking here, request a big room with large bathroom and windows. Overall, a positive experience in a quirky hotel.

We liked the location of the hotel (Urgup is stunning and less busy than Goreme) and we found a great sunrise and sunset point by climbing for 10 minutes up the cliff next to the property. The courtyard where the rooms are located is picturesque. They man who checked us did not seem happy at all. We had to ask for toilet paper three times during our stay as we were given just 1 small roll each time. We were disappointed with the rooftop - it does not look like the photos and doesn’t look safe to sit on. You will not see balloons from this rooftop like the photo suggests. The breakfast was initially disappointing, too (it was a very small buffet, unlike what the photos of the breakfast depict) but then we realised we had to ask for hot food i.e. boiled eggs or omelette and fries (typical breakfast food in Turkey) - there may have been more options but these were not communicated to us. The hot food improved the breakfast a bit but it still was not what we were expecting. You will need to download Turkish on Google translate as the staff do not speak English; this is not a problem for us however the other reviews say they were given all sorts of help and advice from the staff whereas they did not seem to want to talk to us.

The hotel owners, husband and wife were exceptionally good, humble and down to earth people. They upgraded us to a suite from a standard room. Also, served us the best homemade breakfast (till date the best food we ate in Turkey).

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owners and staff warmly welcomed us. The breakfast was phenomenal and more than filling! Each room had a different theme giving it a unique style, and it honored the history of Urgup. I highly recommend this hotel!

Samimi çalışanlar beraber akşam sohbetleri çeşitli kahvaltı ve güler yüzle beraber yarıldık tatilimizden. Tam bir aile oteli. Konum olarak her yere çok yakın. Tek sıkıntı varsa o da odaların havasız olması bunun sebebi de mağara odalar olması. Onun haricinde güzel bir tatildi.

Otel sahibi Orhan Bey gerçekten çok ilgiliydi. Çok yardimseverdi kahvaltı standart olmakla birlikte hazırlayan abla gerçekten çok ilgiliydi çok teşekkür ederiz. Fakat banyo çok eski , odalar maalesef çok kötü bakımsız havasız otel böyle olunca otele sadece kahvaltı yap geç saatte gel uyu olarak kullandik gezerken yoruldugumuzda otel yerine herhangi bir parka gidip dinlenmeyi tercih ettik. Evet otel sahibi çok yardımcı oluyor çok ilgileniyor ama eksikliklerin giderilmesi gerekiyor.

Camera assai umida, materassi durissimi sembrava di dormire su un asse di legno. Lenzuola vecchissimi. Non puliscono le camere e non cambiano gli asciugamani. Colazione esclusivamente turca, un odore di fritto che ti rimane tutta la giornata sui vestiti. Mia figlia ha chiesto dell'acqua che non era presente al buffet e la signora le ha risposto che se la voleva in bottiglia era un extra. In camera è presente un nollitore ma non ci sono tazze e le prese a cui attaccarlo scoperte e pericolose.ilnfine il water si muoveva...direi Cappadocia si ma da un'altra parte
