Great area for a vacation, house was smaller than expected
Area very nice, lots of stuff for varied ages. Wineries, Warren Dunes, St Joseph lighthouse, beaches - all great for different ages. Short drive to New Berlin nice - small but sufficient grocery store, great restaurants. We were 21 people sharing the 5 apartments - 4 people in 4 units & 5 people in 1. Little cramped. Amenities a little sparse in terms of knowing how many people were coming - 3 units out of Kleenex on day 1 because partials left, all units only had 3 rolls of TP to last week. There were more than normal maintenance issues that we will share with owner. We are used to properties that have separate sleeping areas, note that this 5-unit has 1 bedroom in each unit (except top floor has 2) & then extra sleeping murphy/sofa takes up entire living room - hard to maneuver at night when everyone shares 1 bathroom. Kitchens very nice in terms of appliances & cooking items supplied, be aware these are galley kitchens. Beds, pillows, linens very nice. Loved community fire pit and the game room for the big group to come together. Limited clothing storage for people sleeping in living room. Great in terms of walk to beach and walk to coffee shop and restaurant. Don't like getting a bunch of marketing emails all week long from the property company when I booked through VRBO. Register process a little cumbersome. This was the most expensive property that we have booked through VRBO...was over-priced by about 3,000 for the week for 21 people occupancy.
