Great location, beautiful house with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed using the kitchen for several meals and it was stocked with what we needed. This place somehow pulls off both elegant and comfortable. Hope to return next Spring.

Everything was as expected with some added beach items such as chairs and toys for kids, and umbrellas. Being able to walk to go sit on the beach everyday was great.

Excellent spot!

The house and location were perfect for our first Tybee vacation. We could walk nearly everywhere and it was an easy drive into Savannah.

Tybee Island Vacation

Absolutely beautiful house near the beach. The kitchen and spacious living room/dining room, multiple bedrooms with baths, and elevator for my parents were particularly enjoyed by our crowd.

Great house

Perfect for our group. Short walk to calm part of beach. Very clean house. Would recommend a queen bed in lower room and kitchen is minimally stocked. We would rent again in future.

We enjoyed our stay on Tybee in this beautiful house close to the beach. Having 4 generations with 90, 60 and 30 something’s, we were all comfortable in the spacious house with the elevator. Highly recommend this house for your family stay.

The property was beautiful & well equipped! It's located in very quiet neighborhood, close to the beach & shopping! The owners were great with communication & very helpful!! The only complaints that we had were that it was very buggy(which comes with the location) & there could be some updates done to the private suite(t.v & a small kitchenette would be great!). We had 1 small hiccup with the elevator but it was quickly fixed! Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful House Close to the Beach

The property was everything it says it is. The walk to the beach was short and easy for us and the house was gorgeous with plenty of room for all. Although it doesn’t list it, they had everything we needed for the beach (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards) including a wagon to haul it down. The elevator was also helpful in getting our luggage up and down. We would certainly book this house again!!

Beautiful Secluded House with short walk to the beach

This place was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. It’s hard to tell from the listing but it really is a short 2 minute walk to the beach that is a private little sandy path straight from the door to the beach. Super easy for my 3 year old to walk to the beach. Also, it’s super private cause it ends in a culdasac. On top of that the views were just fantastic. I was worried since it is behind another house but it juts out the side so the balcony looks straight onto the beach. Just amazing!

Mother Daughter Annual Beach Week

The property was beautiful. Everything in the house worked great! The extra ice maker was a nice surprise. We play mah jongg every night so having a small round table was perfect. We usually have to bring our own! We always rent a house with an elevator due to elderly folks and this elevator was easy to open which has been a challenge in the past. It would have been nice to have a fan on the 3rd floor deck, it was hot and the gnats were bad but we still managed to enjoy! All in all, it was a 5 star stay!

We spent a lovely week in Tybee Island. The house was exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out. I did miss the fact that one of the bedrooms was only accessible from inside the garage. It is a very nice space (once you are in it) but it is cut off from the rest of the house. It wasn’t listed but there are beach chairs, a couple of boogie boards and, small umbrella and beach toys in the garage which we greatly appreciated. Be sure to bring beach towels as only bath linens are included with the rental. Great kitchen and perfect for our breakfast and lunch needs. We went out for dinner every night. Several restaurants within walking distance as well as a liquor store, and sweet shop for dessert or ice cream. Quick drive (or a bit of a hike) down to South Beach area with shops and more restaurants. Aside from two very rainy days, we have no complaints and would love to return to Tybee!

Christmas with Multi-Generational Family Group

We enjoyed our stay at Beechwood. The upstairs open plan area was exactly as I had hoped with a lot of space to gather and be together. We loved the view of the ocean and watching the container ships go by - this was especially important since the weather was wintry and we couldn't make it to the beach every day. The location was convenient providing easy beach access. The beds were extremely comfortable and the management company was quick to respond to a few minor issues we had. My only complaint is that for a house of this size and price point, I expected the beautiful kitchen to also be well stocked. Most of the cupboards and drawers were empty and making Christmas dinner was a challenge without any serving platters, mixing bowls and tupperware but we made it work. Having the elevator for elderly parents was wonderful. Adding some grab bars in the bathrooms would be helpful for those with mobility issues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beechwood. There were four (4) adult couples and two (2) infants, and the house served us perfectly. It was a beautiful house and it was very clean. It was well appointed with comfortable, high-line furniture, high-line appliances, plush beds, luxurious bedding and towels. Wifi was good. The house was perfectly located with super convenient walk to the beach via the path out the front door, and nice short walks through the neighborhood to nearby ice cream shop and restaurants.The folks with the manager, Southern Belle, communicated with us often to check in and make sure all was going well.During our stay, we were the beneficiaries of what I would call "house angels"- previous guests that have bought equipment and supplies for their stay, then just left them there for future renters. Although the house owner does not advertise to provide beach chairs and such, there were eight (8) beach chairs; one (1) large beach umbrella, four (4) small umbrellas that attach to chairs; a wagon that made transport to the beach easy and various sand toys for kids. These served us greatly and saved us a ton of money on having to rent or buy such items. We greatly appreciated them, so we made sure to wash and rinse it all, and stack them in the garage for the next guests to be able to enjoy.The only "shortcoming" we noticed was that it needs a few more coffee cups. Other than that we highly recommend this house and Southern Belle, its manager.
