Rural Apartment Casa Medico, in Sierra Cabrera

House located in a beautiful place, specifically in a valley called Cortijo Grande; from which you can see the mountains of Sierra Cabrera. A relaxed place to enjoy nature, just 5 km from the beaches of Almeria: Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera. Close to the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. Next to an old golf course, we enjoy three restaurants where you can find a wide variety of cuisines. We rent two rooms, the house consists of three floors, we rent the second one where the rooms are, described in the photos. They do not have access to kitchen, so they cannot cook

Lovely home in beautiful surroundings

We didn't know what to expect when we booked this stay, having previously always stayed in the more touristy spots in Mojacar and Vera, so it was a lovely surprise to see the fantastic location of this rural B&B. Jose and David were most welcoming and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable with air con and fans, comfortable beds and tasteful décor. We were staying with our adult son, who had the second bedroom, and both bedrooms adjoined a large sunny/shady terrace with fab views of the Sierra Cabrera and the lights of Cabrera settlement at night. The location is truly peaceful, apart from the early morning wake-up call from the local roosters and the occasional dog bark. A generous continental breakfast is served by Jose on the terrace, getting the day off to a relaxed start, and when returning from a day at the beach it is really good to be able to cool of in the plunge pool. We really enjoyed the opportunity to experience a more peaceful part of the Mojacar /Vera area and we would recommend this as a great place to stay.
