great quaint hotel

It’s a really quaint hotel in a colonial house with nice rooms. We stayed in one of the smaller ones but heard some have a fire place. Service is amazing they are all very nice. Breakfast is great! Close to Villa de Leyva to go for day trips but far enough to not have to deal with all the noise and craziness of the town.

Beautifully decorated property with walkable roads that provide views of the countryside. Very accommodating staff. When the staff is unable to provide transportation to town, Ruby, the cab driver is fantastic!

10 pm curfew if you don’t have a car

Casona San Nicolás is a beautiful property, beautiful views of mountains. Rooms are very nicely decorated. Check in was very easy even though we showed up late due to bus making so many stops from Bogota. Definitely take a direct route of libertadores bus service. Transportation was my main issue with hotel location. NO taxi service after 10pm, and the property is about 20 minutes by car from city center easily over a 80 minute walk. So that is a major issue if you have not rented a car.

Magical place

It's a very nice place, people are so kind, the view is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, it's like tobe transportated to another dimension, we really enjoy our stay there, of course we'll stay again there, it's magical... And we won't forget Rigoberto, the lovely dog that is always looking to play with everyone!

A very comfortable small hotel, Mrs. Consuelo is very friendly. I would stay again on another occasion. the rooms are spacious. In general it is a country hotel and it complies with everything that includes it. Getting to the hotel is a little complicated, but they are so kind that they come looking for you, I suggest putting a bigger sign or a sketch in the photos

A place Open to Nature

Casona San Nicolas was a wonderful choice to stay for our vacation in Villa de Leyva. Very comfortable, open space to nature, beautiful gardens and the decoration inside the house is nice.The breakfast was delicious, and the place was always quiet and relax. Wifi did work good for us and the bedrooms comfortable and clean. Service excellent and a hotel to go back to stay.

Amazing Colonial Home that offers a relaxing time

Our family loved the hotel. Everything was awesome. Our only suggestion is that they should have hot water for the showers. We tried bathing at 3 different times during the day and there was no hot water. It was really cold! Everything else was grade A!

Cozzy family own hotel outside Villa de Leyva

The hotel's rooms and facilities are better than the pictures. The owners are great hosts and always ready to help you out. During high season the staff is short and you have to be patient for services, specially breakfast. However, is worth as breakfast is home-made and delicious. The hotel is outside Villa de Leyva and therefore quit and peaceful: however you will need a car to move to the town. The hotel is pet friendly and your pet will feel like home.

Hacienda converted into a hotel. Great stay.

It's just outside the city. Maybe 5-7 min cab ride. Staff is small and very attentive. Rooms have lots of appeal, high cealings, fireplace etc... Great walks and vistas. It's like visiting a country home. If you're looking to get away but still enjoy VV. You'll enjoy it here.
