My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy lodge tucked away in Oakhurst. The layout of the home is very well thought out as well as the many decorations throughout the home. All the details are appreciated and overall it's a peaceful place to stay. The deer strolling around were an added bonus...our kids loved waking up to see if they could spot them. Will return in the future for sure!

Property location was great! Close to slopes, restaurants, and shopping, but still out of the way enough to feel quiet and peaceful. Despite houses all around the neighborhood was great, and not busy at all especially for holiday travel.Hot tub was hot, clean and easy to access. Multiple areas in the house for the family to gather together, yet space enough to separate from others when we needed it. Comfortable beds and furnishings, huge kitchen, two dishwashers and clothes dryers were a plus! Easy access code entry, great views and well detailed instructions ensured an easy and safe trip with no issues.Thanks for a great stay!

MLK Magic at TD

Three families filled this wonderful, classic Tahoe Donner home. We loved the large, well-equipped kitchen and great room along with plenty of space for the kids down below. Flexible sleeping options (multiple beds in most rooms) allowed for young children to play musical beds in the middle of the night: ) Host was very responsive and helpful answering any questions. The only drawback to this home clearly well loved by the owners, was a lack of storage for guests - no pantry and lack of closet/ dresser space. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Family vacation

This beautiful home was perfect for our family's needs! There were 6 of us adults and 4 grandkids, ages 5-11. The home was large enough for all of us to spread out...the two master bedrooms were perfect for two couples and the kids had fun sleeping in the double bunkbeds! It's located close to stores and not far from Truckee. We were happy to have access to the 2 private pools and the Donner Lake Marina. We did have to pay $20/person but had all day access to the pool and marina, which everyone enjoyed! It was a pleasure dealing with Noam. He was quick to respond when I had any questions. I would highly recommend staying at his home!

Cozy & Big!

Very spacious cabin with a master suite upstairs and plenty of room for two additional couples downstairs with 5 bunks for the kids. Large garage door which accommodates two suvs with a roof rack. Loved the open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Owner was so helpful when I had a couple of questions upon our arrival. Loved our stay and would rent again. Thank you!

Great Stay in Tahoe Donner

Noam's cabin in Tahoe Donner was perfect for our 4 night stay after Christmas. We were two families with 4 kids and there was more than enough space for all of us. It was clean and beds were comfortable. The house description is very accurate. We enjoyed cooking big dinners and hanging out in the big open living space. We'd love to come back in summer and take advantage of the Tahoe Donner amenities. I would recommend this property to anyone!

Holiday Vacation

Beautiful cabin with plenty of space. Great place to spend the Holidays. Close to several ski areas, which is what we were looking for. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed everything the property had to offer. Hope to be able to come back again next year and spend the Hoildays!

Overall the house was satisfactory. When we walked in the front door the first thing we noticed was the broken screen door on the left slider going to the upper deck. It was off the track and leaning against the slider. The right slider screen to the upper deck was also damaged but still usable. These were pretty much first impressions of the house. As time went on we found chipped glasses and 1 cracked plastic glass. We left these on the window sill above the sink. The internet was very spotty. I could never get on with my computer. Some people could with their phones, again it was spotty. Cobwebs throughout the house. Grill is in rough shape. It works though, so I guess that is what matters. On our last evening the master bath room toilet handle broke. We did not use it after it broke but had plenty of bathroom throughout the house. House was perfect for 6 adults and 5 kids. Nice place but could use a little attention.

Top Notch Comfort and Host

We had a wonderful stay in this home! The furnishings and decor are tasteful, well-kept, beautiful detailing. Bedding is important to us - everything was top notch! The kitchen has everything you need if you want to bake and cook. Everything was clean, cozy and yet high-end - thoughtful. The host is responsive and very nice. We only wish we could book more dates this winter - looks like everyone else likes this home too!

Beautiful home that needs a deep cleaning!

We have stayed in several VRBO homes/cabins and we’re quite disappointed in the cleanliness of this cabin. We felt that we had walked into a home that someone had just recently left and quickly cleaned. If you’re looking for a place that isn’t all that clean and don’t mind someone else’s hair in the shower, food and crumbs and hair underneath pillows and sofa cushions, debris left on the floors, carpets not thoroughly vaccuumed, dining room table not cleaned and crumbs etc. on the seat cushions this place is for you! The Wi-Fi didn’t work the first night and the blinds would not go up so that we could see the beautiful view from the living area. The housekeepers came an hour early before check out. It is truly a beautiful cabin and our family enjoyed it but this place needs a thorough cleaning. If $350 is given to the housekeeping service I would recommend the owner fire them and hire someone new!!! If you do rent the place I would encourage you to talk with the owners and make sure they have thoroughly deep clean this home. It needs it.

Great house for our family of 10. Even the 3 year old was impressed when she walked in the door. Well stocked kitchen. Dinners on the deck were so easy w two patio tables and extra chairs. Cousins loved the bunk beds. All the adult couples (3) had their own room which was so nice. Would book again.

We rented this home for our father’s 70th birthday. The place is very well kept and clean. Has a great Tahoe feel and is in a great location, close to skiing, sledding, downtown Truckee, great restaurants, and grocery.

Beautiful home

Gorgeous, spacious home which was fully loaded with all the amenities. Loved the location, space, hot tub, etc. skied at Northstar which was a pretty quick drive away. Excellent communication by owner. Great time had by all. Hope to come back for a summer trip!
