Wonderful location

On a sister trip to Traverse City, we stayed at this wonderful property. The location is great and the home was in great condition and as in the pictures. All of us would not hesitate to stay at this property again in the future.

Convenient location

It was ok. It was nice for convenience sake, as the purpose of our trip was visit family at the Pavilions. There were many cleanliness issues, some were not at the fault of the owner. So many ants, dead and alive, all over the living room. The back patio was covered in animal scat. The garbage cans were overflowing and we didn’t have anywhere to dispose of our own trash. Remember to bring your own sponge as there was nothing to wash the dishes with. They also require the renters to strip all the beds and start the washer before leaving. When I inquired about issues, I’m rather certain I was speaking with a boy the whole time - I didn’t care for that. It felt like we had to do most of the cleaning ourselves. I don’t think we’ll be staying there again.

Christmas memory

We loved the house and location, walkable to downtown and beautiful neighborhoods. Due to the timing of our stay, Christmas, was a little hard to receive responses from the management company or owner, understood. The house was very clean and comfortable. Would stay there again, hopefully in the Summer!!Thank you!

Family getaway

Nice old house. Poor A/C in the upstairs bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Only one bathroom with shower in the upstairs a little challenging for 5 guests. There were nightly animal scratching sounds coming from the basement or garage. Noisy enough it made me think it was a raccoon. A little disconcerting every night. Otherwise a nice VRBO.

Great piece of property.

Great piece of property. We loved our stay and everything was very nice. Size, space and location were perfect. Just a few housekeeping notes. The appliances need fixing. The door on the stove does not stay closed. Someone must have stood or sat on the door. So sad when people don't respect other people's property. You are not able to use the oven without holding the door shut the whole time. The Refrigerator and freezer doors refuse to stay closed, resulting in the compressor running constantly using unnecessary energy. Leaky toilet upstairs and moaning toilet downstairs.

Wine Weekend

victorian house, really nice, clean, nice neighborhood, close to downtown. Didn’t receive a email about checking in until the day before the trip, I called the host, he sent it over right away. Only thing is I would add a shade or covering for the upstairs bathroom as the window sits level to the toilet, a lace curtain is up but that isn’t privacy at night if the light was on, we covered it with a towel. Would stay again!

Came to spend Christmas with son and daughter-in-law. Located minutes away from their apartment. Easy access to walking trails, Christmas lights and quaint shops!!

Duplex/scary check-in

It wasn't particularly clear that this was a duplex...we were under the impression we had a house. Had zero check-in info until AFTER check-in time. Hung out in a restaurant trying to find contact info and was about to pull the trigger on reserving new non-refundable hotel rooms when the name/host I Googled finally responded with a door code. Made us pretty nervous not knowing if we had a place for the 5 of us to stay that night. Our side of the house was nice, just a little nerve wracking getting into it.

Traverse Getaway

We enjoyed the stay at your place. Everything was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed being at the west end of Traverse City, away from the traffic congestion, but easily able to walk or bike into all our favorite spots in town.

Broken oven/home cleanliness

We paid for early check in to arrive at 1pm. When we arrived around 2pm the home still was not ready, I reached out to David with no response. The oven would not close all of the way therefore, does not work and we were unable to cook casseroles we had brought. The kitchen sink BARELY works and we were not informed prior nor did anyone come to fix this even though house keeping had let us know they contacted the property manager. There were ants all over the INSIDE of the property in which I personally cleaned. The bedroom closers smell like chemicals as if a bug bomb had been recently used. Great location but house needs major cleaning and some repair.

There are no hot pads or kitchen towels or dish rags. One of the chairs in the kitchen are broken and the TV in the living room didn’t work. The owner did offer to come over and change it out but we were headed out. Very clean and convenient to everything.
