Fantastic Apartments.

We returned this year after a fabulous stay in 2024. We were not disappointed, as always the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The apartment was even better than last years! Brilliant location, 10-15 min walk to beach, town or supermarket. Brilliant staff, Brilliant accommodation. Thank you once again from the Leaning family. Uk. We will be back next year!

The receptionist was very professional, polite, and helpful. Overall, the hotel is good for the price you pay. There are some positive aspects, such as a good location, a nice pool, and proximity to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t provide any soap in the room, so we had to purchase it ourselves. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Great location

Great little complex off the main road in a quite but great location, easy to get to from the train station, bus or taxi. The complex is between Torremolinos and Benalmadena situated near La Carihuela.

Great apartments great location

Really friendly staff, helpful, quiet location but only 5-10 minutes from shops, restaurants and beach. Decent size pool area, never too busy. Staff couldnt have been more helpful.

Lovely Stay

Our stay was simply to get a holiday after over 2 years. The apartment we had was very comfortable and clean. However, it was a corner site which meant the layout wasn't quite as good as others we've stayed in at La Baranda. With my wife being visually impaired access to the bathroom was a little tighter than other units because the layout is determined by the building shape. Having said that we'll not hesitate to go back to La Baranda. I also used their gym on one occasion and was very happy with the equipment available. Whilst there's only space for 1 or 2 people at a time, particularly under current restrictions, the equipment level was excellent. The welcome we received from all the staff was excellent and they couldn't do enough to help.

Nice enough but don’t expect luxury.

Owners are very friendly and helpful but it is looking a little tired these days. Don’t be deceived, the studios don’t contain 2 twin beds, it’s 2 single beds. Nothing a coat of paint and general upgrade wouldn’t fix.

Lovely stay

we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. It was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The apartments are set over various levels and each one is gated for security. The pool area was nice with the majority paved and a small part grassed. The pool itself was fairly small but perfectly adequate for cooling off. Our only disappointment was that the apartment has an old compact oven rather than a microwave, with no instructions on how to use it at various temperatures. As there was no separate toaster we just used the grill part of this oven for toast. The other cooking facility was an induction hob that had 2 rings, this was very good. Could have done with some English TV channels though as we did get some rain when we didn't venture out. We found the location good as it's just off the main road and about a 2-3 minute walk to the nearest bus stops. The train is also available up the hill, although not far it can be quite an effort when hot. Pavements up to the station can be quite narrow so they may not be easy with a suitcase. A good option to consider as considerably cheaper than a taxi from the airport. It is only about 400 metres to a large supermarket. The main area of Carihuela is about 5-10 minutes down a short hill where bars, restaurants and shops are plentiful. Once down at the main pedestrianised street everything is pretty much level. It's only about another 20-30 metres to the promenade/beach.

Clean, friendly and ideal location.

The check in was quick and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The apartments are spotless and have all the basic things you need. The complex is really great for families, a nice clean pool, shaded areas, well kept grounds. The balconies are spacious too and living areas roomy. We stayed in a one bed apartment and it was spacious enough. The beds are a little hard but the sofa bed is comfy. The AC works really well, and although it is in the lounge area, it cools the whole apartment. The location is super good. One row back from the main road so quiet but only 5 mins walk to the centre of Cariheula, lovely beach and promenade. There are lots of really nice restaurants, bars and shops just 5 mins away. There is a large well stocked and really inexpensive supermarket just 7mins walk and if you go along the back road (just outside the gates to the apartments) you don't even need to walk up or down the (short hill). We stayed 8 days and mid way received all clean towels. For the price, this is an excellent choice of apartments. We would definitely go back, and we've stayed in numerous places. Overall, simple, clean apartments with good AC, nice small pool, plenty of sun loungers and ideal location.

Dejligt roligt hotel, hvor man passer sig selv. Her er hverken restaurant eller rengøring, vi fik bare rene lagener midt på ugen og en stabel håndklæder. Køkkenet er lidt sparsomt udstyret, vi kunne godt have brugt en brødrister eller panini. Men pænt byggeri og godt indrettet med god pool og liggestole nok til alle. Fin detalje med trolleys til indkøb.

Vi hadde ett flott opphold her. Det er sant som det skrives- resepsjonen var enestående i service! Hadde satt pris på ett renere bassengområde. Derfor satte jeg 2 på renhold. Rommet/leiligheten var ren og pen. Savnet også skift av laken etter 3 dager. Ellers helt ypperlig opphold! Kommer gjerne tilbake.
