Family stayed for two nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Alberto the "Captain" of Hotel Poseidon whose hospitality was excellent. The Hotel is just steps from the beach. The breakfast was very good (overlooking the outdoor pool). We had a maintenance issue with the stove in our unit and it was promptly fixed. Air conditioning was excellent. The building and facilities are older, but clean and well-maintained. There is a 24-hour grocery store a few minutes' walk from the hotel. My suggestion to management regarding the breakfast plates and glasses — when they are washed in a dishwasher along with dishes that have eggs on them an unpleasant smell is transferred to other dishes especially glasses and cups. It would be best if you wash items that served eggs separately. Thank you.

The property is extremely clean and well kept. The pool is great and location can not be beat. The only comment I would make is that the furniture in the rooms is a bit dated and should be updated. The staff are amazing, always friendly and helpful.

Located steps from the beach and good restaurants, the Hotel Poseidon offers just what you want from a hotel in Terracina. Buses into town or out to San Felice Circeo for amazing views and hiking are just at the waterfront. The pool is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Hidden beauty

A beautiful little hotel. A 2 minute walk to the beach. 5 minutes from the local supermarket. Parking in the lane way next to the hotel. We arrived mid afternoon having not eaten since breakfast, the kitchen staff happily whipped up some spaghetti for the both of us even though they had finished serving lunch for the day. It was the best spaghetti we had on our entire trip! We only stayed one night, but wish we had of stayed longer.

Hotel in Terracina

We were in the area to visit town where my husband's family is from. Really enjoyed the location and the beach area. Hotel was very well maintained and staff was pleasant. A good 20 minute walk to center of town, although there were some good restaurants along the way. Terracina had lots of terrific restaurant choices. The only thing negative was there was very little information at the hotel in English.

The hotel was VERY basic. The staff were very nice and accommodating but the hotel is just not that nice. Left after 1 night and "ate" the second night rather than sleep another night in the uncomfortable room. Awoke with a terrible back ache from the bed!

Terracina for relaxation

A relaxing week in Terracina. The hotel was as advertised. Solid 3 star approx. 100 m north of the beach (max. 5 min walk to shoreline). We booked a double room; single bed was large and comfortable, complete with a kitchenette and air conditioning. Room size was perfect for two. Staff was very friendly and mostly accommodating. Local restaurants are good, especially 'Centosedici'. For other food options, there is a local grocery store 'Conad' west of the hotel (5 min walk).
