Casafavorita - Holidays with sea and Teide view for two

The Casafavorita is located in Buen Paso. a quiet district of Icod de los Vinos, in the west of the north coast. Our house is located at an altitude of 120 meters, at the end of a cul-de-sac, and is therefore absolutely quiet and free of traffic. Mass tourism is a foreign word here. The studio is functional, with a kitchenette with a stove, fridge, microwave and coffee maker and a TV with German, English and Spanish programs. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and bidet.
Large sliding glass doors give a clear view of the sea. A small terrace in front of the studio is ideal for a breakfast with a sea view. A large covered terrace can be used as a parking space.
The pool has a swimming size of 12m x 4m and is heated with solar. From there you have a wonderful view of the Teide. Sun loungers, various lounge chairs and parasols are available.
The beach of Icod, Play San Marco, is 8 minutes away by car, and the "Parque natural de Corona" is ideal for long hikes, which can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Puerto de la Cruz can also be reached in 15 minutes by car or bus, with the stop above us on the main street, about a 20-minute walk away. For more information, see casafavorita. it

Marvellous. A dreamworld come true. You will be pleased to know that I enjoyed every aspect of my holiday. The enjoyment was more than enhanced by the exceptionally friendly and magnanimous outlook of Martin and Pia. I could not believe my luck in meeting 2 such wonderful people. In my humble opinion they went above and beyond. With regard to the accommodation itself everything was perfect. In addition to being ideal in its layout it was absolutely spotless, with everything a holidaymaker would need.

Dejlig beliggenhed og søde værter

Lejeboligen er et anneks til værtsparrets hus, og man har en skøn udsigt både til havet og til El Teide-vulkanen. Der er også adgang til svømmebassin på grunden. For at komme til busstoppested og indkøbsmuligheder skal man dog først op ad en stejl bjergside, så man skal enten være i meget god form eller leje en bil. Værtsparret har 3 hunde og 5 katte, som jeg havde stor glæde af. Der er dog sat en lukket låge op, så dyrene ikke kan komme ind til lejeboligen, inklusive dens private terrasse, hvis man helst ikke vil forstyrres.

A home away from home

Mario and I stayed at Casa Favorita for 10 days in February 2020. We had such a wonderful time! The apartment was perfect for us, our own kitchen, bathroom, terrace outside overlooking the pool and the sea and we could park our car beside it too. It is in a stunning location in the less-touristy area of Icod de Los Vinos. It was an ideal location for us to go trekking in the El Teide national park, to see El Drago, to go to Garanchico for an ice cream and a swim...it was perfect. However, the thing that made our stay so special was our amazing hosts, Pia and Martin. From the second we arrived to our apartment, they made us feel so welcome. There was wine and chocolates waiting for us and they showed us the pool area and the washing machine to use. It really felt like home. They also invited us for lunch and for dinner with them Swiss-style. It was so special and we will hold them in our hearts. Thank you so much Pia and Martin. We home to see you again!
