THE CITY

In the Landes department and bordering the Atlantic Pyrenees, at the gateway to the Basque country, Tarnos is a small town of 12500 inhabitants. In fine weather, the beach is poorly landscaped but monitored in summer, allows you to play on the sand as in the waves. The trails and the cycle path Vélodyssée under forest cover facilitate the practice of hiking on the other side of the dune. The intercommunal stadium, the skate park ... complete the range of sports equipment.

This was an ideal place to explore the local area. Great house and pool - everything we needed was there. Super clean and well explained. Thought of everything. Would definitely recommend (having stayed in many places in France, this is by far the best). Great Host - so responsive and accommodating.
